Wilsonic is your portal to new musical universes.  Ervin Wilson's 65 years of tuning research and discovery are now at your fingertips.  By touching, hearing, and feeling Wilson's designs you can intuitively break free of the limits of the 12 note scale used by historical musical instruments such as the piano and guitar to pioneer new music never-before heard by mankind.

No previous knowledge of music theory is required.  These tonal worlds are based on an entirely unique mode of thought that has little to do with historical musical thinking.
  
The app features Wilson's most profound scale designs. Your hands and ears naturally find new melodic patterns and harmonies that touch on those feelings and emotions you couldn't find before.  When you find that perfect scale export it as a Scala file to tune up your favorite software synthesizers.  Share your favorite scales with your friends.  This version of Wilsonic has the scales "Moments Of Symmetry", Co-Prime Grid, Tetrany Major, Hexany, Tetrany Minor, Mandala (Hexany Stellate), Tetradic Diamond, Hexany Diamond, Aggregate Rotations of Euler Genus 4, Eikosany, Partch 43, Harmonic Spiral, Highland Bagpipes, and Recurrence Relations.

I love Wilsonic.  Such a positive way of expanding the scope and depth with understanding the larger cosmology of music theory.  Music and Math are revealed well in your logical layout of interface.

For some reason, this app keeps freezing when i put some notes on 0 and 1. and the sensytivity of the keys is kinda off.
And i only wish this had MIDI Input. Imagine If you used MIDI On willsonic. That would be amazing

An ability to play a simple wine glass sample with these scales could be total heaven! Either the ability to create a one shot sample within Wilsonic, or the ability to export these scales to an app like Koala Sampler would take Wilsonic from a 5/5 to an 11/5 rating!

As someone who has learned a lot about theory in the past, I'm confused by a lot of this. However, It's very easy to use. It didn't take long to understand that the notes are spaced out in a series depending on the mode selected on the top left portion of the screen. The layout could stand to be a little more visually compelling, but it's self explanatory as far as playing a note goes. Some of the text is too small to be read. It would be nice if there was information about each of the different modes, whether that be the historical context, some sort of description explaining the structure, or something else to help a user wrap their minds around what exactly is going on here. I can tell by my ear that a lot of these structures are distinguishable from the 12 tone series, but it would be nice to know how they're different and what I could do to replicate some of these scales outside the app.
