Way better than FAKEBOOK! ### 5/5 — A++++ Wimkin is what I use the most. Joined Oct of 2020. *2022-10-25, version 3.0* I left my other social places back when people began to be censored. It’s been really cool to be able to express freely, and hear freely. To have a place for a more natural existence, and to be able to connect with reliable news sources who don’t dictate what you must think or say. It’s a community that still embodies a love for our country and each other... it’s been my favorite platform for more then a year now. The app has evolved over time to include many new features cause it’s always growing and Jason and his crew always bring in new things as we need them. He gets 5 stars too.. ### 5/5 — Great App *2022-10-08, version 3.0* It’s operates much like the overrated FascistBook app but without all censorship. Jason has done a great job with this platform. The learning curve is minimal since it’s feels much like FascistBook. There are no fact checkers either. The members police themselves and some have called others out on false info, the censorship board. But so far its been full of perverts reaching out with “hey beautiful” and half naked pictures of women posted by these perverts. And tons of onlyfan girl profiles. So I guess if you want a conservative tinder this app is for you. It didn’t like my first username (too long), so I changed it to meet the Wimkin criteria. Fine. Unlike other SM apps, Wimkin forces you to have a profile pic immediately during account set up. Fine. I went into my picture library & selected one, hit Done & it kept erroring out that I needed a profile pic, but would not let me select camera roll again. I tried several times. An app which can’t even handle a simple user sign up is not an app which I have any faith won’t be plagued by a multitude of other glitches. Can someone PLEASE create a social media alternative without shadowbans but that actually WORKS? X is shadowbanning, suspending & perma-banning conservatives over the most ridiculous, innocuous comments. And there don’t seem to be any good alternatives which both WORK and aren’t trying to sell your data like Truth Social. I refuse to use Meta, so I guess I’ll just spend my time-wasting minutes doing brain game apps and that’s probably better for me anyway. There are few things as disheartening as when one downloads an APP and the interface takes up only a tiny part of the screen. I realize NOW that I could use a browser but users shouldn't have to learn the hard way. The sign up process is not user friendly. I wound up trying to enter my e-mail multiple times using the TINY keyboard. Frustrating. A password reset took two tries and the reply went to junk mail. **Developer response:** Wow. We offer www.wimkinhelp.com - only posted this 1,000 times for help. And you're mad that YOUR EMAIL PROVIDER puts OUR EMAILS in your junk folder? What a horrible and completely off the wall review. Your problems are with others, not us. We provide the tools, it's up to you to use them. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — To Mr. Jason Sheppard *2025-06-08, version 4.0* Given the constant influx of liberals dominating any platform that supports conservatives, along with the increasing number of vulgar and hateful Democrats joining Wimkin to target us, it is essential to have a feature that allows us to report individuals who are liberal or who use adult-rated vulgarity against others on this app; we cannot afford to be the last ones remaining if they take control of this platform as well.
