## What is WIMS Face Match?

WIMS Face Match brings real-time face-recognition attendance to your iPhone. Designed for the WIMS workforce management platform by FocusQ, it lets staff clock in with a glance — no badges, no PINs, no shared kiosks.

KEY FEATURES

• On-device face recognition — your team's biometric data never leaves the phone unencrypted
• Live attendance logging to your WIMS server with offline queue
• Per-organization device registration with timezone-aware logs
• Configurable retention policies (1M / 3M / 6M / forever)
• Built-in user enrollment with three-shot capture
• Real-time heartbeat + task sync with the WIMS backend
• Dark theme by default, optimized for kiosk and desk use

WHO IT'S FOR

Hotels, hospitals, government offices, and enterprises already using WIMS for workforce management. If your team logs attendance through the WIMS dashboard today, this app replaces card readers and biometric kiosks with the iPhones your supervisors already carry.

PRIVACY

WIMS Face Match runs MobileFaceNet on-device using TensorFlow Lite. Face templates are derived locally and stored encrypted. Only the resulting recognition events (matched employee ID, timestamp, optional location) are sent to your WIMS server.

REQUIREMENTS

• An active WIMS workforce subscription
• A device key from your WIMS admin
• iOS 17 or later
• Internet connection for initial enrollment and sync

WIMS Face Match is the client app for an existing WIMS workforce-management subscription. Your business administrator manages your access.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-06-26

Improved face recognition with a new high-accuracy model (better with glasses/beards), a guided 3-angle enrollment flow, duplicate-face detection at enrollment, and reliability fixes.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-06-19

v1.2.0 — Major recognition accuracy upgrade

• New FaceNet recognition models greatly reduce wrong matches between
  similar-looking people.
• Look-alike protection: ambiguous matches ask for another look instead
  of risking the wrong person.
• Stricter matching defaults and multi-frame confirmation.
• Migrate tool to move existing users to the new model.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-05-28

What's New in v1.1.1

• Anti-spoofing: rejects photos and screen replays so attendance
  can't be faked.
• Blur detection for sharper, more reliable face captures.
• Background sync keeps attendance up to date when the app is closed.
• Optional IN/OUT prompt to record punch direction.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-05-26

v1.1.0 — Punch direction (IN/OUT)

• New Settings option to prompt for IN or OUT after each
  attendance match. Off by default.
• Configurable default direction per device — useful for
  entrance/exit kiosks.
• Cancelling the prompt fully discards the punch (no local
record, no server upload, no retry delay).

### 1.0 — 2026-05-24
