There is no help or how to use instructions. You just have to figure it out on your own. You can't change any settings like wind speed measurement. It only displays speed in knots, I want it in MPH, but knots is all you get. Also, it's a static display, there is no animated movement showing trend. When you change between different type of map displays like street, topo, bing, it takes forever to load the screen, and I have super fast internet connection. I think I wasted my money on buying this app. Going to delete. **Developer response:** Hi , We are sorry to hear of your experience and would like to assist you immediately. If you took the time to do this much, how about finish up with details on wind level. Just surprised this mad the App Store with so many great weather apps. After going into settings and turning off location services for this app only it began to work. Previous entry: (Worked great when I first installed it, but has crashed every time since. I even deleted it and reloaded it to no avail.) ### 1/5 — Is really bad App *2013-08-03* Doesn't show map is a fake app ### 2/5 — Wind data sources? *2013-07-09, version 1.6* I use this on the Great Lakes, and have found that the wind readings very rarely correspond to the actual NOAA or Canadian buoy and weather station reports. I'm not sure why you'd want to use this app to get an Ostro guess when you could just get the actual wind reports from another website (along with a marine forecast). ### 1/5 — Absolute rubbish *2012-09-13, version 1.4* This app takes an age to load, even when connected to a wifi connection. Even when loaded the info supplied is no where near accurate. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with it. App location services warning keeps popping up every time I try to pan or zoom to a location. Also would be nice to have explanation of symbols and full data as shown on real NOA wind/weather charts. There are many cases where opt to keep location services off. Also, app crashes when panning when location not enabled. ### 2/5 — Eigentlich ganz Okey *2011-10-18* Ich weiß nicht so recht wie ich diese App bewerten soll, habe sie mir geholt, weil ich doch öfters Segeln fahre. Und ich finde, für so etwas ist diese App ja genau gemacht worden. Aber nun ja, viel hat die App nicht zu bieten, das Downloaden dauert viel zu lange und die Pfeile sind auch noch viel zu ungenau platziert( Für mich noch zu wenig Informationen über den Wind). I’m a licensed pilot and I keep tabs on weather forecasts BUT when I’m not flying, I’m typically working outside on a couple of ranches we have in Texas, and wind plays a big role on what “chores” I might or might not be able to do. This app has historically been exceedingly inaccurate in advising what the winds will be like in an hour, or the next day. Автору низкий поклон ### 5/5 — Im Prinzip sehr schön *2011-08-24* Bugfix 23.8.11 - nun alles wieder gut. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Verschlimmbessert: Nach dem update vom 12.8.11 (mit iPhone 3G, iOS4.x) startet es nicht mehr. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es funktioniert sehr schön. Der Wind, auch über Land, wird grafisch gut skaliert. Leider wird nicht gesagt, ob es der bodennahe Wind ist oder der, der freien Atmosphäre. Das ist von Bedeutung, denn man kann die Karte mächtig vergrößern und ist versucht, ins Detail zu gehen. Wenn man einen Hurrikan nicht sieht, dann muß man in das mögliche Gebiet hinein vergrößern. Realwind est la seule que je connaisse qui le fasse si simplement. Une sortie en planche : En quelques ´clics´ on balaie les spot et l'évolution des prévisions dans la journée. Un vol de pente en planeur RC : Plus aucune pente n'est inaccessible.
