I was already considering a different inventory management system and this update confirms I should. The developers have no idea how the app gets used and they made something a simple as pointing the camera at the item you want scanned into a difficult process that requires exact positioning and finger mashing. IT WAS SO SIMPLE! The update takes away functionality for no discernible benefit. It adds unnecessary time and effort to such a basic task. The devs should be embarrassed by the the lack of understanding of the user experience.

They took out basic scanning functionality with the newest update that’s causing me to unnecessarily waste time at my business. The most basic function of the app “scanning” has become an every item problem that does not come close to working as smoothly as was and always should. Absolutely shameful and embarrassing for the people ruining this app. 

Edit: they rolled it back later and now broke it again. They don’t understand the basic use of the app they created.

The new scanning mode implemented is horrible.  Not back button, no automatic scan just a lesser version in every way.  Do the people updating this app use it?

When used in dark mode text within the app goes black as well which results in me having to go switch to light mode in my phone’s settings each time I use the app. Other than that no complaints so far!
