Since the last update the app is crashing every other time I use it, when I try to select a starting point for a route. I thought this would be more reliable after paying the subscription. Zudem fand ich die 20 Fragen bei der Installation überflüssig wenn man nur mal sehen möchte, ob die App gut ist oder nicht. Der Eindruck war für mich am Anfang schon so komisch, dass ich sie sicherheitshalber sofort wieder gelöscht habe. Doesn’t state that only maps for the US coastline are available on the app. Receiving no feedback on email or helplines… WTF ### 2/5 — Not what I thought it would be *2024-07-13* I’m not to keen on the app. Radar is not accurate and it’s been pouring rain here for the past 20 minutes and the radar screen shows a light rain blob a few miles away and nothing else while other apps are showing all the rain pouring now. What is shown is just blobs. It’s cumbersome to use. I do appreciate the tide and swell data but I can get that from my other 2 apps I use for weather. I’m not sure if this app is for continental US use. I’ll try weather routing, but guesstimate is fine as the charts are definitely not something I’d actually rely on for navigation. Maybe for ocean crossings? I’m trying to make good use of it but it isn’t living up to the hype. I hope it makes a positive difference for others. In response to developer: thank you for the reply. I already use Windy as one of my 2 primary sources. By continental, I mean: within the USA waters. I’m not sure I would rely on routing using those maps to safely avoid underwater hazards or even rocks and islands. So I’m not understanding the emphasis on charts usage. I checked it out against my chartplotter and it did not match up. So, I say it’s better for larger crossings with deep waters where there is much less chance of hitting small islands or rocks. We operate entirely within Apple’s strict payment system. Apple allows strictly one free trial per Apple ID. If you used a trial for our app in the past, Apple’s confirmation screen explicitly states that you will be charged immediately. Since Apple handles 100% of the transactions, you can easily get your money back by requesting a refund directly at https://reportaproblem.apple.com . They will return your money according to their policy. Not worth the money at all ### 1/5 — Fraudulent billing *2026-02-07* Some how this app is able to bill my apple account but doesn’t show up on the subscriptions list as active or inactive! FULL OF BUGS *2025-09-30* I made a huge mistake by trusting these developers and paid $60 for a software that is completely useless. You have to kill the app every 2 minutes because all you will see is a huge error screen. It takes reloading the app 5 times so that MAYBE you will see something for the next 10 minutes. Right after purchasing the app I initiated a refund request but apple refuses to refund. I still cant understand how can they scam buyers like that and get away with this. Stay away. Search for reddit post about this app and you will see hundreds of complains about the same issue that uses post for months. Спасибо! ### 5/5 — Imprescindible *2024-07-28, version 5.7.7* Imprescindible en naútica para la planificación de singladuras, donde te permite trazar tu ruta y ver la predicción del tiempo que hará en cada coordenada de paso de la travesía. La puedes afinar bastante al indicarle la navegación que haces y los nudos que piensas sacar de media. El poder ver viento, olas y corriente del mar en cada punto de paso es ideal. En su versión de pago, te permite también guardar lugares, rutas e invertirlas. La pago con gusto visto el mucho uso que le doy. Solo le falta que pueda guardar la predicción para poderla consultar cuando pierdes cobertura de internet (algo normal en travesías oceánicas, salvo que lleves internet por satélite, aún a la altura de pocos bolsillos). También sería interesante poder ver el posicionamiento en mapa con todos los datos (viento olas y marea), pues solo permite ver la simulación de paso en el plano con el dato del viento. A ver esos desarrolladores buenos…. Creo que ena buena app, práctica y sumamente intuitiva. ### 5/5 — Great visuals *2024-05-30* Guys, really love this app as a long time fan of windy, this is brilliant. I think for me as a sea kayaker in the UK the extra features like nav don’t currently have admiralty data I can see and it doesn’t seem to factor in local tidal current changes around a few coast lines I’ve checked the tidal speed isn’t updated.
