I especially loved the quick review notes for each testable country, but the Burgundy Grand Crus and Champagne Tete de Cuvees list were definitely my most used. I also had a little bit of an issue one time with the interactive map quizzes, and when I reached out for support, Paul got back to me quickly and the issue was resolved asap. With maps, mock quizzes, timed exercises, plenty of flashcards (in 2 difficulty levels), and more, there’s so much awesome material to work through for the price. In the 2 weeks leading up to my Certified Exam, I used GuildSomm, The Wine Bible, and this app—and that’s all I needed! In terms of flashcard difficulty levels, Level 1 is right on target for the CMS Introductory and for much of the Certified Exam’s theory portion (at least the one I took this February). If you really want to feel secure in your knowledge it doesn’t hurt to dip your toes into the Level 2 flashcards. I never had any technical issues with the app either, which was great! Overall, thanks a bunch Paul for making an app that makes it easy to study in line at the grocery store. Cork Dork was very helpful! The flash cards and quizzes were a great way to get in 10 or 20 minutes of quick study. I found the Flashcards and the Wine Maps to be incredibly helpful and the mobile aspect of being able to study anytime, anywhere allowed me to find time to study whenever I had a spare moment. The quizzes were also great for checking on your data retention. The flash cards are perfect, and you can choose your level of difficulty. With exam tips, maps of countries and appellations, plus auditory help(esp helps for pronunciation purposes or to listen to while working out, etc), this app is a wonderful tool for those wanting to increase wine knowledge on a personal or professional level. Really helped me in passing my CMS-A certified exam. For example a region is shown in yellow but there is no yellow in the key, but orange is shown in the key twice. These maps are so beautifully simplified that it could be an awesome asset if fixed.
