At first it just hung with spinning dots when I tried to view satellites. I tried reinstalling and now it crashes at startup. Beyond 75 miles get a satellite receiver. I use it in my camper and it works very well. You do nave to me able to know north from south and East from west. I just point the antenna in the direction indicated and fine tune it with the built in tv signal meter.
