Love the fact that the app tells you what stores carry the wines on your hitlists. Wish more wine stores come onboard in the near future. Have to disable all notifications, because the sounds, buzz and frequency is somewhat intrusive. ### 4/5 — A Great App *2019-06-29* I’ve been a member of the WineFront website for a few years now and it’s good, with reviews by the complementary talents of Gary Walsh, Campbell Mattinson and the quixotic Mike Bennie. The interactive comments made by members can often be a source of information, humour and, sometimes, puzzlement. However, it must be said that an extremely blokey and clubby atmosphere prevails in the comments section nearly all the time and could be quite off-putting for many. The Wineosphere app takes the WineFront concept and raises it to the nth power using modern and very user-friendly data analytical and presentation methods. It truly is a revelation if you are used to old-fashioned web-based wine sites like Wine Companion (good as James Halliday and teams’ actual reviews are). Try it and you will be amazed. ### 4/5 — Great app... But *2015-06-29* Great App! I have one complaint. It won't let me use a photo I have already taken. Let's face it, when socializing you often don't have a lot of time to add a wine that's not already reviewed. I had planned on doing that later but now I can't because I can only take a photo not use an existing photo. ### 5/5 — Fantastic app *2018-08-07* This is what I have been searching for for years! If you don’t have time to be a wine expert but enjoy drinking nice wines this is the perfect app. I love that you can plug in your local bottlo and the app will find the perfect wine for you in that store to go with the meal you are having! No more $40 bottles of vinegar! The reviews are expansive, enlightening and entertaining and I have saved significant dollars buying quality wine using the app. Highly recommend it. ### 5/5 — Fantastic Aussie wine companion App *2016-06-22* I rarely write reviews, but am so impressed with this freebie, I felt obliged to share my delight at finding such a useful and informative wine app. Most importantly, it's Aussie focused - local wines, local stores, local thoughts. How refreshing to have an app designed for Australia, rather than us being a 5% afterthought on a US app. At a minimum, you can use it in your local bottle shop and see which best rated products they are stocking, searching by price, wine type etc. Works great for my local Dans, as well as independents. Regular reviews are posted from the Wine Front (subscription) website, with searches available by rating, price, type, region etc. There is a rudimentary "my wine" feature allowing you to create wish lists, have lists and reviews of wines. Additionally there are features and articles regularly updated. Prices and availability can be referenced against on-line retailers, with a shopping cart feature, as well as links through to the individual vineyards as well. Many more features I haven't listed.... There is a lot to like about this app, and a lot to explore within it as well. Despite the 5*'s, there are some improvements that could be made - the social media aspects are linked to a subscription site, there isn't a portrait function, and there isn't a synch between iTunes account (my iPad selections are not reflected on my iPhone phone, which is a real shame when shopping. But, I'd be happy if I'd paid $10 for this, so for free, it seriously deserves 5*'s, especially as it features Aussie wines, shops and reviews. ### 5/5 — Great app *2016-05-27* Probably the best wine app I've experienced in the last few years.
