## What is Wingman | Flight Training Help?

Wingman is a safety-first AI flight training companion built specifically for student pilots.

Nearly 80% of student pilots quit before earning their certificate. Not because they lack ability — but because they lack structure, clarity, and consistent guidance between lessons.

Wingman helps you stay on track.

What Wingman Helps With:

• Structured daily flight focus
• Maneuver breakdowns (stalls, steep turns, ground reference, landings)
• Pattern work guidance
• Risk management & ADM reinforcement
• Oral exam practice
• Post-flight debriefing
• Scenario-based thinking

Wingman is not a replacement for your CFI.
It reinforces what you’re already learning.

Every interaction is designed to:
• Reduce overwhelm
• Prevent burnout
• Improve retention
• Build checkride-ready confidence

Built by a professional pilot who understands the training journey from zero hours to airline cockpit.

Whether you're preparing for your first solo or polishing maneuvers before your checkride, Wingman keeps you moving forward.

Your training. Your pace. Your progress.

Stay consistent. Fly smarter. Finish strong.

Complete overhaul of the study page.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-03-04

Structured PPL Study System

The biggest upgrade.
Wingman now has a full Private Pilot ACS study path built directly into the app.

Every topic now has:
Plan (what you’re about to cover)
~5 minutes of actual structured reading
Questions tied directly to that lesson
Practical “Do” steps
This replaces the old generic AI lesson format. It’s now structured, intentional, and built around the actual PPL standards.
Right now we’re focused on doing PPL well before expanding anything else.

“Mission” is now Today
The old daily loop is gone.
It’s replaced with a Today engine that gives you:
One clear next step
A recommended study focus
Quick review access
Streak status
No more repetitive checklist.
The app now decides what makes sense based on:
Where you are in the study path
What’s due for review
Your current focus
Whether you’re flying soon

Streak System Rebuilt

Streaks now reward consistency — not button tapping.
You earn your streak by doing any meaningful action:
Completing a study step
Finishing a review
Logging + debriefing
Completing preflight check-in
Only once per day.
And yes… there’s now a streak celebration when it increases.

AI Preflight Instructor Brief
Instead of a random daily AI lesson, AI now lives where it actually matters.

Inside Preflight Check-In, you can generate an Instructor Brief based on:
Your study progress
Your last debrief
Your current focus
Your scheduled flight

It gives you:
A primary objective
Focus points
Measurable standards
Risk triggers
Chair-flying prompts
Questions to ask your CFI
This is meant to support your instructor, not replace them.
 Smarter Recommendations

Today’s recommendations are no longer just “next in sequence.”
They now consider:
Incomplete steps
Review-due topics
Focus areas
Flight timing
And it explains why something was chosen.

This update was about one thing:
Making Wingman feel like a structured training system
