Overall it’s my go to free flight instrument, and paired with a Bluetooth vario the flight data is incredible. The airspace proximity feature available in the premium version makes a premium subscription a bargain by itself, not to mention in-app 3D flight replay!! I use Wingman while paragliding and hang gliding, though the flight analysis features make it a promising companion for powered aviation where I might want accurate, detailed tracking, etc. With this app I can relive every detail from the convenience of my own phone. Pour moi, le mode vario sur l’Apple Watch est juste ultime. Petite idée bonus : le rêve (même si j’imagine que ce n’est pas simple techniquement) serait de pouvoir faire pivoter l’affichage de 90° sur la watch. Je m’explique : en vol, je tourne la montre vers l’intérieur du bras pour garder un œil sur le vario en tenant les commandes. Le problème, c’est que l’écran se retrouve à l’envers et il faut se tordre un peu le cou pour le lire. Si l’affichage pouvait pivoter de 90°, la lisibilité serait parfaite, sans jamais lâcher les commandes — un vrai banger 😁 Mais même sans ça, Wingman est un must-have : carnet de vol + vario, que demander de plus ? Pass on This One!! *2024-07-20* When you get to Level 6, there’s a bug that makes it impossible to achieve the goal. They make you “buy” a virtual flight instructor which also has a bug and flies off into space. The graphics are good, but you will drive yourself crazy trying to achieve Level 6. **Developer response:** I think you reviewed the wrong app, this is not a game 🥴, but an app about paragliding and free flight. I liked the app well enough initially but it doesn’t show the elevation graphically in 3D space. It just projects the flight onto the ground. I couldn’t find a setting that would change this so I am assuming it is a limitation. I know the data is there because I imported the flights into Google Earth and it shows the elevation fine. More importantly, last night I logged a flight that was around 35 minutes in duration but the app logged basically a straight line from launch to landing. The duration was right but it missed most of the thermalling in the middle of the flight. John ### 3/5 — Wont stop flight *2024-08-19* [EDIT] after 5 flights I finally realized there is a pause button in the middle of the screen. I am a software professional and I wasn’t able to see that button even after looking for it, multiple times. I would highly encourage you to make the button stand out instead of blend in. This experience has ruined my view and I am switching to another app :/ [ORIGINAL] I land and it keeps tracking. Which isn’t the end of the world but why isn’t there a manual button to end the flight? Seulement, depuis les dernières mises à jour (dont les espaces aériens), il est impossible d’avoir le son du vario en vol (tout fonctionne bien niveau affichage, on voit le gain d’altitude en temps réel mais il n’y a plus aucun bip). Je pense désinstaller l’appli si ce problème persiste, car voler sans bip est bien trop limitant, et je ne me vois pas voler les yeux rivés en permanence sur mon téléphone pour exploiter les thermiques… **Developer response:** Bonjour, n’hésitez pas à me contacter depuis l’app (Preferences > Contact) pour du support, je serai ravi de vous aider.
