I’d to make 5year CA 39 for endorsement and it was a hassle calculating the hours from 2 logbooks, correcting calculation errors, etc. I contacted wingman support and they did not just respond promptly but provided a quick and effective solution, speedily. I used it to generate ca39 for pic upgrade, was a piece of cake. I would advise all first officers to use wingman and import your flights and make changes to the night and ir timings. It will take some time but in the long run will make things easy. Specially during pic upgrade. Good to have a digital logbook. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review Capt. ### 5/5 — A tailor made app for the Indian scenario *2022-01-05* Having tried different apps before zeroing on this by trying the trial versions, I chose Wingman for it simplicity and good user interface. With the paid version, fetching details from AIMS and uploading to EGCA is a cakewalk. I need to add only the other Pilots name and the flight number (not required actually). For ₹3000/year, it is value for money. I also decided recently (though planned for a long time) to upload my previous 4000 entries into the EGCA database. My excel worksheet was shared with the support team, who converted it into the required format and got it ready for upload in about three days. Some more resolving followed and I was able to upload the entire flights in EGCA within 5 days from start to finish. Amazing fix to people wanting to migrate from any other elogbook to this with its EGCA feature ! I finished 10 years of entries in an hour on the EGCA logbook. I was able to upload everything from LogTen to this in an instant ! Best part, for updating hours/ flights in eGCA, very easy to upload, barely takes a minute. Flights are synced with the company data for easy updation! And the day/ night timings also update per the almanac for correct logging. Another great feature is the unlimited reports u can generate for cross checking your data which is useful before uploading to eGCA! It takes an hour to log a flight! Maybe pilots in India want to spend hours logging useless data, but for aviators elsewhere, this a waste of time and money. The app layout is terrible, trying to log a flight is like filling out a DMV form. Ain’t no professional pilot got time got time for this nonsense. The app says my Rostering app’s login credentials are wrong while that is not the case. This is frustrating to face such matters after 5 years of being here. The interface is smooth and the report generation software is a blessing. However, lately I have been facing issues with auto roster import for the previous day. It seems to work about 70% of the time. There are days when the previous day’s flights are not being auto imported and I have to make those entries manually. If I forget to check if the previous day’s flights have been imported or not then that becomes a hassle as the month’s totals are off. Kindly look into it and advise.
