The past year or so, it has become almost completely worthless!! It is very generalized and almost never accurate. ### 3/5 — Improvements *2026-05-17, version 6.1.303* It’s been a great app. Just a couple of suggestions: 1- prior to the update, the radar would constantly update every minute or so, there was not much delay in updates. Now, it takes 5 to 7 minutes to update, at least from my perspective as a user. 2- while radar is moving, the bar reaches the end of the line so fast and return to the beginning so fast, the user cannot tell when the data ended . It’s moving so fast and no option to slow it down. These two features were perfect in the old app before the major update. LOVE the weather map and the features. WOW, the features are abundant and customizable! ONLY ONE THING MISSING: A watch app / complication so I can access the weather at a glance. That’s all, I’m done now. Maybe because we are in a tough location. Radar can’t be yellow n it’s not raining. The hourly forecast is mostly inaccurate. The other news organizations have a less snazzy interface but the radar is more accurate. Its unfortunate. You’re lucky if the radar updated after 7 or 8 minutes. A lot could happen during that time when you have thunderstorms. The radar loop goes so fast that you can hardly tell when the loop starts and ends. Of course the user cannot adjust the speed of the loop. You had to ruin it. Weather guy (not Matt, apologize for not remembering his name) nonchalantly said may be a few pop up showers overnight, in Cape Coral , Ft Myers….nothing significant and no mention of Port Charlotte / North Port /PG. we’ve had heavy rain and thunderstorms now (in Gulf Cove , PC) since approx. 11:30pm. Now 2:00 am, just looked and said rain for another 50 minutes. Thunder and lightening like crazy. Given recent storm predictions, and now tonight’s weather, wondering what’s going on with WINK weather being the authority. Yes, weather can change , but almost 4 hours of heavy rain is not a pop up shower.
