Someone had sent me an email with a Winmail.dat file attachment and I couldn't figure out how to open it. A quick Google search showed enlightened me as to what Winmail.dat files are and than a quick trip to the iTunes Store and a review of different iOS apps claiming to open these types of files ensued. I noted that this iOS app was recently updated and that was a big plus for me since if one updates their iOS hardware to newer iOS operating systems (e.g., iOS 7 to iOS 8 or to iOS 9, etc.) than it is imperative that the iOS developer in question updates their iOS software otherwise it may not work in the newer iOS operating system. I purchased this and it works superbly on my iPhone 5, iPad Air and iPad 2 devices. Not only that, once I open up the emailed Winmail.dat file using this iOS app I can than "export the file" to a "different" iOS app, e.g., an iOS Office app, etc. That too has worked superbly. For 99 cents this is a no brainer. One purchase and it works on all my iOS hardware devices just as it is advertised and should.
