## What is Winner's Win?

Winner's Win helps you stop gambling by making it hard to do alone.
Block the betting apps you pick and 340,000+ gambling sites on your iPhone, and give the key to up to four people you trust. They're told if protection goes off, and nothing unlocks unless they all agree. They never pay.

YOUR CIRCLE
• Up to four people you trust. They don't need the app; a link is enough. If they'd like the app, the helper side is free.
• Want something unlocked? Ask. Everyone in your circle has to approve, then there's a one-hour wait.
• Plan ahead: a night out or a one-time unlock, agreed with your circle first.
• Rough day? "Tell my circle" sends an honest note to the people in your corner.
• Tell us roughly what gambling cost you each month, and every protected day turns into money kept, shown to you and your circle.
• Casino alerts, if you turn them on: your circle is told the casino's name when your phone arrives at one. Never a map or a trail.

WHAT IT BLOCKS
• Sportsbooks, online casinos, poker, sweepstakes casinos, pick'em and daily fantasy sites
• Prediction markets and event-contract sites
• Real-money skill and cash-game platforms
• Offshore and crypto betting sites, including new mirror addresses
• Your own list of extra sites, which you can add to any time

HOW IT WORKS, AND ITS LIMITS
• The site block is an encrypted DNS setting you turn on once. It stops gambling sites in Safari, Chrome and other apps that use iPhone's DNS settings. Apps with their own built-in DNS can get around it, and it can't stop a betting app that's already signed in.
• That's why Screen Time shields the betting apps you pick, so they can't open. Your helper can also stop new apps being installed.
• A circle member sets the Screen Time code in person, so the app can't be deleted and Screen Time settings can't be changed without them. The site block and Screen Time access can still be switched off in iPhone Settings; if they are, your circle is told the next time your phone checks in.

PRIVACY
Sites are checked by our own DNS server: gambling sites, and the VPN, proxy and private DNS services people use to get around a block, get "not found"; everything else is passed straight on. We don't keep a list of the sites you visit; our hosting provider's short-term request logs can include the names your phone looks up. We don't sell data and there are no ads.

NOT TREATMENT
Winner's Win is a support tool, not medical care. If you're struggling, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER (free, confidential, 24/7). In a crisis, call or text 988.

SUBSCRIPTION
Winner's Win is a paid app for the person it protects, and a 7-day free trial is required to start: there is no free version. Helpers never pay. After the trial it's $49.99 per month or $299.99 per year, billed through your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or the current period; manage or cancel any time in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. If your subscription ends, blocking stops and your circle is told. You're reminded before your trial ends, and if your plan is set to end, you and your circle hear before it does. Renewing turns blocking back on; on iPhone, pick Winner's Win once more in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > DNS.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-07

• Clearer setup: a step-by-step progress timeline with green checks, and one "All systems go" status that tells you and your helpers exactly what is working and what is next.
• Winner's Win is now a subscription for the person it protects. Start the 7-day free trial, or subscribe, to set up protection. Helpers never pay.
• If your subscription ends, blocking stops and your circle is told. You're reminded before your trial ends, and if your plan is set to end, you and your circle hear before it does. Renewing turns blocking back on; on iPhone, pick Winner's Win once more in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > DNS.
• Gambling sites and betting apps are now blocked nationwide, with many more casinos, sweepstakes and prediction-market sites covered.
• Money kept is now a lifetime total, so a fresh start never wipes what you've already kept.
• Many smaller fixes.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-07

• Clearer site-block setup: a calm step walks you through picking Winner's Win in iPhone's DNS settings, and the app now checks that the block is really in force on your phone, including through your helper's backup block or when another VPN takes over.
• Honest status everywhere: Home, the Blocked tab, the protection map and the widget say exactly what is blocked right now.
• Fewer false alarms for your circle, and no alerts while you're still setting up.
• Cancelled unlocks stay cancelled on your phone.
• The "Block every app rated 18+" switch is gone: it could hide Winner's Win itself. Pick your betting apps instead, and your helper can stop new apps being installed.
• Helper screens show whether the site block is on, and many smaller fixes.
