I’m usually looking at screen when outdoors at a bus stop White font on black would be good ### 3/5 — Great App, but has few glitches. *2024-05-29, version 1.6.0* I think it is one of the best app for Winnipeg Transit, in terms of showing the updated waiting time. However, I have been having a big issue recently with my bus stop. It doesn’t show the assigned bus, until there is only 3-4 minutes left, like that bus does come and go, but it is only shown on the app with few minutes left. It has been happening as of this last week, 19 May 2024. However, there's a persistent issue in the mornings where the app inaccurately labels buses as 'late' when they're actually on time. The real-time updates often come too late, with the notification appearing only when the bus is four minutes away, leaving little time to catch it. ### 4/5 — Overall Good App *2023-09-21, version 1.6.0* Have seen instances when it says late 2 minutes meanwhile the bus shows up 2 minutes early. Transit is terrible! *2020-03-13, version 1.5.1* For starters, it is my go-to app when it comes to trusting the times of the bus schedule. However, even if the bus may say LATE 5 Minutes, the bus may be earlier or later so I always try to be at the bus stop 5 minutes before it comes. It would be nice if there’s a way to completely disable the ads. I wouldn’t mind paying every month or have a one time payment to remove them. Also, it would be nice if we could have a dark mode for the bus app. I mean the app is nice and all but I think it would be great to have a makeover or something. You can’t even track buses while you were in winnipeg! Thanks ### 5/5 — App is great, however don’t trust arrival times *2018-12-18, version 1.4.1* Since the data provided is the same which you can see on the electrical signs across the city, the inaccurate times shown are the fault of transit, not the developer. This is by far the best app to use for Winnipeg transit, just keep in mind getting to your stop 5 minutes before the scheduled time is your safest bet. If it’s earlier get there 5 minutes before the displayed arrival time. To sum it up app is great transit sucks😂. ### 5/5 — Lifesaver *2018-12-09, version 1.4.1* I use this app daily, it’s probably the most useful app on my phone. Very rarely do I have issues with it that aren’t the fault of Winnipeg Transit itself. I would like to see an option to pay to disable ads. I often tap on the bottom banner by accident while scrolling on the bus stop details page, which is time I can’t afford to waste. The your-location dot on the map usually sinks tap input intended for a nearby bus stop pin instead, opening a useless tooltip on your location instead of the stop. This wastes precious seconds when I’m checking to see if a better bus is coming before boarding one right in front of me. The list view is unsuitable as an alternative to the map in this situation because of GPS inaccuracy messing with the sort, and I usually don’t know the full name of my stop to find it in the list quickly. I’d like to see the tooltip on the your-location dot on the map either removed, or stop accepting input when there are stops visually nearby (If I want to tap on the dot, I’ll zoom in).
