Where do I get Snow Zone info for my address? ### 1/5 — It's true what they say *2024-02-13* The app doesn't actually help. Had it this year even though it wasn't a bad year for snow at all. Checked it on the nights it did snow pretty good and the days following. Says no bans in effect. But guess who found a ticket on his car the very next morning. Don't use this useless app it will absolutely get you a ticket. Probably working as intended knowing this corrupt city. They need a better system. It's like they want to make winter more miserable making us check the website 24/7 for 6 months of the year. ### 1/5 — Difficult to use *2023-01-11* App is designed poorly, Not sure how the city of winnipeg expects anyone to figure out their zone with this mess. App lags when trying to view the map, you’re not able to look up streets, has to be an address, doesnt provide information on when the next ban will come into effect or any previous bans, app harasses you with pop ups. No support for if your car was towed. I’m convinced the city designed this app to be difficult to use or they just can’t keep up with the times. ### 1/5 — Snow app zone. *2022-12-18* Brutal my nephew in preschool can do a better job. Typical trash Winnipeg. Another reason why we are called a garbage dump throughout the rest of Canada. Looks absolutely cartoonish running on an iPad. It also lacks the basic ability to change from portrait to landscape orientation 2022. I am glad I parked in the driveway as the street plow are clearing on my street. I have the settings on alert - I did my part - app does not notify. I think this app has one job: “to send a notification that the plows are going to be on your street” repeated failure to do so....why bother with a one job app if it does not do the one job? do not trust this app, you will be towed. ### 1/5 — No info *2020-05-07, version 2.1* No information regarding street cleanup. I updated to latest version on Apr. 29, 2020. The ONLY thing in the app that mentions spring street cleaning is a link to the City of Winnipeg website, which directs you to the app! Utterly ridiculous. There is no notifications? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Winnipeg loves taking your money *2026-03-01* The app is terrible. Notifications don’t work. App feels and looks 15 years old. Winnipeg makes it hard to know where you can and can’t park on purpose. Makes sense for the city that has speed cameras in construction zones when no construction work is being done. Do NOT rely on this app as you have a high chance to receive a ticket or even worse towed. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-02-02* If I could rate it zero I would. Never ever updated us to let us know what zone is currently doing snow removal. Kinda the point of the app right?? I have to google city of Winnipeg and go from there. It’s the only app on my whole phone that has the full notification settings on. And I’ve never received a single notification. No update on app. *2025-12-24* Know your zone ### 1/5 — Unhelpful *2025-12-18* The main purpose of this got for me is to find out when my street will be ploughed after a significant snowfall. This does nothing to help with that. It provides codes without a legend making them irrelevant and indecipherable and providing no ranking and no timeline in context to provide any assistance in getting your car out of the garage. A perfect example of when government makes an app. I’m sure they prioritized diversity over competence. ### 1/5 — Horrible UI and user experience *2025-01-11* It’s 2025, and the UI still seems to be from the last century.
