Or when the bus is late and instead of saying cancelled, it just puts the bus on the schedule for it to pass by you 30 mins later saying not in service with people still in it. Also whats going on with the safety on the bus. I as well as so many other people feel completely unsafe. How many more stabbings and killings and fights is it gonna take for someone to do something about this. Like why do people feel scared to get to work in the morning and dread going home at night? When is the safety gonna get fixed? I would take a late bus any day over the chance of being stabbed to death. Please make the bus more safe because I constantly worry about my family as well as myself. ### 2/5 — Difficult to use *2025-07-12, version 1.8.0* The app is difficult to use. The major streets have white type on light grey, making them hard to read. If you don’t enter the information in just the right order, nothing shows up on the map. You can’t choose to see a complete bus route in the route planning screen, which is standard in other apps. The information is there, it’s just that app isn’t very intuitive and can be frustrating to use. ### 1/5 — Poor information *2025-07-02, version 1.8.0* This app is poor. Scheduling for times later in the can not be done. Can only get options for buses leaving in the next 30 minutes or so. No contact information to report issues. ### 1/5 — Why??? *2025-06-30, version 1.8.0* Why did the city have to change something that was working to something that makes no sense at all and making people and seniors walk further and hope they catch the right bus? Where are the city’s brains??? I’m 73 and fortunately still drive, but one day I won’t be able to drive and be forced to take something that makes absolutely no sense. ### 1/5 — Why change what’s broken *2025-06-30, version 1.8.0* *Warning!* This review has nothing to do with the app, it’s 100% attacking the brand new Transit System that has gone into affect. So I live with someone who knows the transit system, or that would’ve been the case if they didn’t change the gosh dang system around!!!! Whoever changed the routes and such around is quite literally one of the most dumb people on this entire planet. First, why did they make Polo Park route 2 buses to get there instead of keeping an one route system?! Second, just why did they get rid of some of the best stops, along with the rerouting of some of the best routes to get to several places?! Honestly I wouldn’t be too surprised if 3 1 1 got at least quite a few calls complaining about this system this day of the review, the rest of the month, and the entire time that this system stays up for. Fire anyone who suggested the changing of the routes and get some people who can fix the buses! Also just tossing this in here as a bonus review, Can the people at Winnipeg Transit get better bus drivers like please, the people don’t want to deal with these dumb routes with some of the worst bus drivers ever for the rest of my life! ### 1/5 — The app only displays correct times half the time *2025-05-27, version 1.8.0* I can’t even trust the app to tell me if my bus is on time. Let us know when the bus stop is temporarily closed. Which this app doesn’t. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-04-23, version 1.8.0* Pretty good representation of our transit system ngl. Works like 60% and the other 40% it makes me wanna rip my hair out! UI is too complicated even when it does work. The trip planning system hasn’t worked properly for me in about 2 weeks. If this is any indication of the transit restructuring I’m gonna have to buy a car soon. ### 1/5 — Terrible Update *2025-04-17, version 1.8.0* The last update has disabled the Now button so it can only be used at the time of a trip not when you want to plan a trip for later. Been late to class so many times because of this stupid app. ### 1/5 — Unreliable and misleading recently *2024-12-19* The service has become increasingly unreliable recently; not stating if or when a bus is early or late leaving me waiting in -30 degrees for 50 minutes waiting for a bus that was supposedly due 40 minutes before; either that or the bus was somehow cancelled one way or another and was never once even implied to have been. Never had this issue before. ### 3/5 — Very slightly better than the default Maps app on your phone *2024-11-02, version 1.6.0* This app does everything the website does and basically everything the default Maps app on your phone does. The main differences are the ability to see if a bus is running late or cancelled and the On the Go feature. And I guess the ability to search a specific route or stop’s schedule but you can do that on the Winnipeg transit website. ### 2/5 — Cannot view entire schedule *2024-10-08, version 1.6.0* This entire app is planned around them being able to hide how late their busses are. Then all of a sudden it disappears off the map, and any other schedules! Had to wait another half an hour! And yet that bus was another 5 minutes late. I mostly use it to check a stop schedule, but the trip planning function works well too, on par with Google honestly. A lot of these reviews are using this to winge and complain about transit and Winnipeg in general, or expecting unreasonable things like the app working without data. No, an entire app just to replace the digital sign at a bus stop wouldn’t be good. Someone gave 1 star because there isn’t an Apple Watch app? Give me a break Or how about 1 star because their bus was cancelled? Not saying that’s acceptable, but try voting for people who won’t consistently underfund transit, that’ll do you a lot more good than a 1 star App Store review. There is a lot of stuff wrong with Winnipeg Transit and Winnipeg in general, but should we really be surprised that we have poor public services if we manage to use every outlet available, even the reviews of a genuinely good app, as a chance to complain? ### 5/5 — Terrific app *2022-11-29, version 1.4.0* I have tried 3 or 4 transit apps that work for Winnipeg. This one is by far the best. It is easy to navigate, intuitively laid out, and includes everything I was looking for. I’m especially pleased to see Navigo included and full route maps easily accessible.
