## What is Winsor App?

Winsor School’s official app keeps the community organized and informed. Employees and students can sign in with their Winsor credentials to:

View academic schedules by day, week, or month, grouped by block.
Track assessments with calendar and list views, including notes and late-pass actions.
Manage recurring cycle day events and day notes with admin-ready tools.
Access student rosters, submit late work, and review conflicts (faculty only).
Quickly log out or refresh tokens for secure, authenticated access.
This app is only available to current Winsor School faculty, staff, and students. A valid Winsor account is required to sign in.

For students

• Download your schedule — grab your own class schedule as a spreadsheet, right from My Schedule.

• Required books, right on your schedule — each class on My Schedule now shows the books required for it.

For teachers & advisors

• My Advisees — a new home-screen tile listing all of your advisees at a glance; tap through to their full
profile.

• More on a student's profile — see their upcoming assessments (next two weeks) and any outstanding late
work at a glance, plus one-tap links to their full schedule, weekly assessment calendar, and required-book
list (with printing).

• More reliable schedule and assessment-calendar loading, and a fix for "Outstanding Late Work" occasionally
showing nothing even when items existed.

What's New in 3.10

• Open in Canvas — classes on your Academic Schedule now link straight to their Canvas course. One tap from your schedule to your coursework, for students and teachers alike.

• Canvas Admin tools (registrars & system admins) — a whole new area for managing Canvas from the app: create and edit Canvas courses, push them to Canvas, sync rosters, assign teachers, and fix course and section mappings without leaving your phone or Mac. Sections can be created, renamed, moved between courses, and synced individually.

• Learning Skills Program observers — manage observer/student pairings by school year, with CSV export and import for bulk updates.

• Quicker course actions — the Canvas course list is now grouped by school level and sorted by course code, with Push and Open in Canvas buttons right on each course.

• Simpler sign-in — your Winsor Google account is now the one-tap way into the app.

• Clear Cache — a new button on the Help page reloads all app data fresh from the server if anything ever looks stale.

### 3.9 — 2026-06-26

Asset Management

The Technology team now has a full suite of asset management tools built into the app.

Open Checkouts — See every open device loan at a glance. Loans are sorted by status: overdue items appear first in red, followed by items due today, then all others. Check in any device directly from the list, with an optional condition note and lost-item flagging.
Change Due Date — Extend a checkout's expected return date without checking the device in and back out again.
Asset Reports — A new reports section under Helpdesk gives admins quick access to inventory stats, warranties expiring soon, the employee computer replacement cycle, lost asset history, and a date-range loan history report.
My Borrowed Items — All users can now see their own loaner history and request a return-date extension, which sends a notification to the Helpdesk team.
Barcode Scanning (iOS) — Tap the scanner icon next to any asset tag or user field during Quick Check-out or Quick Check-in to scan a barcode or QR code with your camera. Student ID barcodes are supported for the borrower field.

### 3.5 — 2026-03-31

Signing in is now easier with Google Single Sign-On.

Students, faculty, and staff can now use their winsor.edu Google account to sign in to the Winsor App more quickly and securely. We’ve also kept the existing email and password login available for now.

This update also includes behind-the-scenes improvements to support the new sign-in flow.
