## What is Winsty?

Winsty – Where players find teams and teams find players

Winsty connects players, clubs and the entire sports community in one platform.

Finding the right team, discovering new talent, or staying connected within the sports world can be difficult. Winsty creates a digital meeting place where players, clubs and others in the sports ecosystem can connect, share opportunities and build their network.

Players can create a sports profile, showcase statistics and achievements, and discover clubs looking for new talent. Clubs can explore player profiles, find athletes actively searching for teams and communicate directly with players.

Coaches, parents and other members of the sports community can follow players, discover teams and stay connected with opportunities across the sports landscape.

Originally launching in ice hockey, Winsty aims to become the leading platform where people in sports connect and create new opportunities together.

Winsty 2.0 is here - rebuilt from the ground up:
• New sport profiles with position, stats and season history per sport
• Share your post-game results as a player in your feed and to other social media!
• Customize your profile in new ways, add a background image etc.
• Club and team pages with their own feeds, rosters and media. Old clubs get a coach account -> new Team and optionally a Club to surround it. 
• Teams can be headless; no larger organization and then later link to the larger organization once they sign up.
• Statistics from your real games; within Sweden and public data. 
• Recruiting: post openings, apply with one tap, follow the whole process in-app
• New home feed with photos, video and game recaps
• Share openings as a link or QR poster

Navigation
  • New 5-tab bottom navigation, including a dedicated Chat tab.
  • The active tab is now clearly indicated.
  • Side drawer replaced with a notification bell + overlay in the top-right; Settings gear lives on Profile.
  • Launch routes you straight to the tab home, no more flashes through an old screen.
Search
  • Type someone's full name like "Edvin Frosterud" or "Adam Engqvist" and find them. Partial tokens ("edv fros", "Frosterud Edvin") also work.
  • The Posts tab now actually returns matching posts.
  • Tapping a user from the search overlay opens that user's profile — previously the profile could show the previously-tapped user's posts.
Profile redesign
  • Cleaner profile hero (avatar + name + role), section cards for Bio / Experience / Education, and a tidy detail grid.
  • Avatars: initials in a deterministic colour when no photo is set (was a stuck loading spinner).
  • Avatar shape fixes — no more accidental hexagons.
  • Role switch + member-role edits now open in a proper modal so they can't be clipped by the layout.
Posts & comments
  • Delete your own posts from the home feed or the post-detail view.
  • Own posts line up at the same width as everyone else's.
  • Comments appear instantly when you tap send, with a character counter near the 500-char limit.
  • Composer keyboard now dismisses cleanly on return.
Opportunities
  • Unified feed + composer; club compose hides the "Pending Post" tab cleanly.
  • Per-field required toggles when creating an opportunity.
  • Composer + listing surfaces fully translated.
