## What is wir+app?

wir+app bündelt Beiträge, Veranstaltungen, Gemeinschaften und Chats in einer App.

BEITRÄGE
Neuigkeiten, Ankündigungen und Informationen in einem Feed. Beiträge lassen sich für die eigene Gemeinschaft veröffentlichen oder aus anderen Bereichen übernehmen und weitergeben, ähnlich einem Collab-Post aus sozialen Medien. Wer die passenden Kanäle abonniert, erhält alles Relevante direkt in der App – ohne zwischen Portalen, Webseiten und Verteilern zu wechseln.

VERANSTALTUNGEN
Termine und Veranstaltungen anlegen, teilen und im Blick behalten. Alle Beteiligten sehen denselben Stand – von der Probe über die Gruppenstunde bis zur Sitzung. Anmeldungen laufen über digitale Formulare direkt in der App, Papierlisten entfallen.

GEMEINSCHAFTEN
Gruppen, Teams und Gremien als Gemeinschaften abbilden: Mitglieder verwalten, Rollen vergeben und festlegen, wer Inhalte einstellen und bearbeiten darf. Jede Gemeinschaft hat ihre eigenen Beiträge, Veranstaltungen und Chats an einem Ort.

CHAT
Einzel- und Gruppenchats für die schnelle Abstimmung. Nachrichten, Dateien und Absprachen bleiben dort, wo sie hingehören, statt sich über private Messenger-Gruppen zu verteilen.

New Features & Improvements

Web App on the Home Screen
The web app can be installed in the browser as a standalone application on the home screen or desktop, and it then opens without the browser toolbar.

App Notification in the Mobile Browser
When you open the web app in a browser on an iPhone or Android smartphone, you’ll see a notification for the app with a direct link to the App Store or Google Play Store. The notification can be closed and, if desired, hidden permanently.

Chats in the Background
The chat connection is paused while the app is running in the background or the web app is running in a minimized browser tab, rather than continuing to run continuously. This conserves battery life and data usage, and when you return, the app reloads new messages.

Bug Fixes

Invitation Notification in Chat
In the desktop view in the browser, the notification for a pending invitation, as well as the loading and “unavailable” indicators for an empty chat, remain in the center content column instead of moving below the sidebars.

Editing Community Information
The information page in a community’s settings now loads completely—even if no community categories have been created in the system yet—instead of continuously displaying a loading indicator.

User Interface & Display
The display of logos and other content in the wir+app has been standardized across all areas.
