## What is Wire Size Pocket?

Wire Size Pocket is an offline wire sizing reference and calculator for quick electrical planning checks.

Use one focused desk to review conductor gauge, copper or aluminum material, insulation temperature, ampacity, voltage drop, load, phase, length, suggested minimum listed gauge, a field check packet, and a copyable Verification Receipt for pre-install review or owner handoff. Save common circuit checks locally and keep ampacity cards plus conduit fill helpers nearby when you need a fast field reference.

Wire Size Pocket is designed for electricians, apprentices, maintenance teams, inspectors, and DIY planning conversations that need a private, local-first tool without a network connection.

The app is a planning aid only. Final conductor selection and installation must be verified against applicable electrical code, local amendments, equipment labels, terminal ratings, ambient conditions, derating, conduit fill rules, permits, inspections, and licensed professional judgment.
