The app boots out when entering the OTP. App previously worked with previous iOS version. My profile expired so I tried to get another one with new OTP but the app won’t work now since iOS was updated. Not clear why we require an App just to access wireless. I couldn’t manage to configure it so gave up and deleted it. ### 1/5 — Badly programmed Android app disguised as iOS *2022-01-21, version 3.0.2.1007* The interface is all weird, it doesn’t support screen rotation on iPad in landscape mode, its really slow and rather unreliable (so you need to reinstall the wireless profile every few months without warning), the profile download instructions were written as if they were copied from a scam email selling illegal drugs ### 1/5 — Can’t get OTP using US number *2021-12-10* Going to echo other reviews: I was unable to get an SMS confirmation using my foreign (US) phone number. Tried several times, and nothing. Pretty lame, since having WiFi on the MRT would be nice. I’ve tried 10+ times. Then I thought I could use the app instead. But unfortunately the app ONLY supports Singaporean phone numbers (the manual login supports also foreign country codes). I’ve deleted the app again. ### 1/5 — Non-Singaporean phone number unable to use *2019-09-09, version 2.1.0* Despite the fact that the app says it can be used by any phone number that can receive SMS, and I can receive SMS on my non-Singaporean phone number, the app won’t allow me to enter any phone number except a Singaporean number. I downloaded the app because if you try to verify your phone in the WiFi settings on an iPhone, you can’t get to the confirmation code without losing your place in settings. Banner notifications can’t come through while the confirmation page is open in the settings, but if you close it, the confirmation window closes and can’t be reopened without starting again. This whole system is a mess! ### 1/5 — Won’t work with foreign numbers *2019-09-08* This app requires the use of a Singaporean phone number thus is useless for most tourists. The first time I open it, it doesn’t send me the OTP. Latest time I tried is today with ios17. Can’t get on the server to complete registering. This app works at a snails pace probably because your using a Singapore line to cross the USA. Not sure about foreign sim. The overall wireless@sg connection process is quite cumbersome in general. Definitely room for makking it easier for users. ### 4/5 — Must have SG Pre/Post-paid SIM to work *2024-07-01* I tried using my US number after selecting NO when it asked if it had a SG SIM, and it froze after clicking next after entering my Birthday and number.
