## What is WirMobil?

WHAT IS WIRMOBIL?
WirMobil is a driving service for people with disabilities. It is offered by the state of Berlin and operated by the company ViaVan GmbH.
This driving service takes you to your destinations in your free time, such as sightseeing, appointments with friends, events, to the train station or to the airport. You can also get picked up from there.
The service also includes stair assistance. The stair assistance can be also used without an associated ride.
You can be accompanied during the ride. An accompanying person is a person who rides with you free of charge from the beginning to the destination.
Journeys to doctors, therapists, as well as medical treatment in hospitals are not possible.


AUTHORIZATION
To use the transport service, you need an authorization number. Information on the subject of authorization can be obtained from the State Office for Health and Social Affairs (LAGeSo).

HOW TO REGISTER FOR WIRMOBIL
Before you can use the smartphone app or other channels, you must register. You can do this by following the steps below:

1. Apply for an entitlement number
You can obtain an entitlement number by applying to the Berlin State Office for Health and Social Affairs (LAGeSo). If you already have an entitlement number, you can skip this step.

2. Contact WirMobil
You must register once with WirMobil using your entitlement number. You can register by phone or by e-mail:

3. Provide information
When registering, you will need to provide some information so that we can prepare for your ride.

4. Receive personal access data
You will receive your personal access data from us with which you log in to the smartphone app and web app.


HOW TO BOOK A RIDE WITH WIRMOBIL
Book the ride 2 to about 14 days in advance. To book follow these steps:

1. Provide ride information
Enter the information about your desired ride.

2. Ride confirmed and time of pick-up communicated
The system will search for a ride after you place your order. Initially, a 30-minute pickup period will be communicated. We will reserve this period for you.

3. Track location and waiting time
In the smartphone app, you can view the current location of the WirMobil vehicle before your trip. You can also see the approximate time you have to wait for the WirMobil.

SPONTANEOUS RIDES
Spontaneous ride means: you don't want to plan the ride for a long time. This is also possible. You can book the ride on the same day. Or the day before. You can not always book a spontaneous ride. Only if a vehicle is free.


OWN CONTRIBUTION

Seit dem letzten Update geht die App zumindest auf meinem IPhone 6s gar nicht mehr Man sieht nur kurz den Startbildschirm danach schließt sich die App sofort wieder

Leicht zu benutzen😊. Schön wäre, wenn es eine Möglichkeit gäbe die Buchung auf Wunsch in den eigenen Kalender des Handys zu übernehmen.  Dann wäre die App perfekt 👌

Ein kleines Symbol mit einer Treppe wäre perfekt wenn man mit Treppenhilfe gebucht hat!!!

### 1/5 — GPS ungenau, alternativer Startpunkt unmöglich

Die Startpunkterkennung ist ungenau. Die App gibt als Startpunkt nicht Hausnummer 14 (wo ich wohne), sondern Nr. 17 an. Wenn ich den Startpunkt manuell ändere, springt sie danach immer wieder auf Nr. 17 zurück. 
Ich habe daraufhin die Standorterkennung ausgeschaltet. Jetzt wird als Startpunkt Lindenstraße 66 angegeben und nach manueller Änderung springt es auch wieder dorthin zurück.

Habe jetzt über die Webseite gebucht (auch mit unterdrückter Standorterkennung). Das nächste Mal vermutlich wieder per Telefon.

Außerdem wäre entweder in der APP oder idealerweise auf dem Merkblatt des Lageso ein Hinweis wichtig, dass man zunächst per Email oder Telefonnummer ein Nutzerkonto einrichten muss (Hatte diese Info dann auf der Wirmobil-Website gefunden)

Ich bin durchaus technikaffin und frage mich, wie Senioren mit der App zurecht kommen sollen …

Die Bedienung der App ist schwierig, schlecht programmiert.
Es wird immer wieder auf den aktuellen Standort gesprungen, obwohl man eine andere Adresse eingeben will. 
Die Favoriten für Adressen sind von der Tastatur verdeckt.
Die vordefinierten Favoriten drängen sich immer in den Vordergrund. Favorit „Arbeit“ ist unsinnig, denn um zu Arbeit zu fahren ist die App nicht da.
Bei Eingabe einer Telefonnummer ist USA voreingestellt und man muss Germany auswählen. Da sollte doch mindestens Deutschland vorausgewählt sein.
