### 2/5 — A guide quite out of date

I walked the southern part of the Camino Nascente two years ago.  It was mostly beautiful, mostly poorly waymarked, and VERY lacking in accommodation.  I added corrections to this en route — for example, the 1 foot wide dam crossing is much, much scarier than the fairly scary description.  And Don Joana, mentioned here with a phone number, told me she had stopped hosting two years before I got there … declining health.  The guide really needs someone to walk the route carefully, and have a full update.  You will see that the guide often says “no services”, and that part is always true.  Services were very limited.  It is open, mostly uninhabited countryside.
