I took a chance and boy am I glad I did. Everything went seamlessly and there were no problems whatsoever. Quick and easy. So, of course as I planned my next trip to Nashville. I went directly to Wisecars and once again saved a bunch of money. If you have any hesitation on using this service, please do yourself a favor, take my advice, and save yourself some money. I compared against atleast 10 websites, agencies and directly car companies too but no one was able to match the price that Wisecars offered. Their cancellation policy is flexible and their customer support seemed quick and very helpful. This is great considering we have to wait for a long time at other companies. Would definitely recommend. But do your own research. Refuse to provide refund! Beware! *2023-05-27* I booked a rental car through the app. When I got to the airport, the car I had booked and prepaid for wasn’t available. We waited for 2-3 hours for someone to rerun a car and felt fortunate to get a car before the airport closed. We thought we were going to be stranded because Wise Car reservations apparently don’t hold a specific car for you. The car we ended up getting, however, was roughly $400 less expensive than the one we had already paid for (a compact car vs SUV). I asked Wise Cars for a refund for the difference but am yet to get any money back. I’ve been emailing for months with little-to-no response. It’s very disappointing and very poor customer service. We would highly recommend using a more reputable company. We would never book through them again. **Developer response:** Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us. Tried to reorder another one which had been hundreds of dollars more. Had to fix that last booking because they put in the wrong dates. ### 1/5 — Canceled reservation *2022-07-21, version 1.62.1* Be careful with this one. Great price but they cancelled last minute leaving us high and dry ### 1/5 — Worst car rental company *2022-06-08* When I showed up, my credit card name didn’t match my new married name that the car was reserved under. Because it was different last names, the car rental company said I didn’t qualify for the rental without a credit card in my legal name. When I called support to have the name changed on the reservation they said they couldn’t change it because I was past my pick up time. After 36 minutes on the phone with Wisecars, they hung up on me. I had to complete a new booking and pay for everything again. Now they say I am considered a no show for my rental because I didn’t have the proper credit card name. It is ridiculous. Read the fine print. Don’t pay in advanced. **Developer response:** Hello! Unfortunately, car rental suppliers have very strict terms. This means that the main driver has to present a credit card and a full valid physical driver licence and any other documentation with the same matching name- otherwise the car rental company can not be sure who they are renting the vehicle to. We highlight this information multiple times during booking and therefore, we unfortunately can not request a refund from the supplier. Regards, Rachel from Wisecars ### 1/5 — DO NOT BOOK!!!! *2021-09-06* We had a horrible experience booking through Wisecars as a 3rd party! You are better off booking directly through the actual Rental company. The few dollars you “save” are NOT worth the money AND time you lose dealing with them. The Rental company canceled our reservation, and tough we met the Cancelation criteria on their Terms of Service, they are still refusing to refund our money!! They have no problem taking your money months in advanced but do not uphold their end of their own terms. Only leaving a 1 start because that is the lowest rating possible. Please save your money and book elsewhere!! UPDATE: we are now a month out and still no refund or response from their team!! **Developer response:** Hello! This does not sound right! If a supplier cancels the reservation our agents have been instructed to refund the booking immediately, unless the cancellation is due to the customers fault (incorrect documents etc).
