## What is WiseH2O?

With the WiseH2O App and inexpensive chemical test strips, you can make real-time water quality observations.  Simply dip a test strip, take a photo, and receive water chemistry results instantly.  This technology provides the opportunity to screen for nitrates, nitrites, orthophosphates, pH, and other analytes.  You can also take observation photos, add comments, and log waterway disturbances, such as bank erosion or the presence of trash.  Each record is captured by time and location to assist with targeted remediation efforts.  The app is ideal for crowdsourcing water quality monitoring, understanding the health of fisheries, responding to emergencies, using for industrial applications, monitoring water in agricultural settings, and informing citizens about the quality of water they use and enjoy.
