It is very easy to inadvertently purchase one or more of the many add ons that pop-up during the personalisation process and the company refuses a refund even if you haven’t used any of them. The cost of these add-ons can be many multiples of the subscription cost. Take care!

We are sorry to hear about your frustration, but it appears there may be a case of mistaken identity. We are Wisely: Books in 15 Min, a book summary app.

We do not offer expensive "add-ons" during onboarding; we simply offer standard subscriptions (Annual or Monthly) which are processed entirely by Apple, not us. Consequently, we cannot "refuse" a refund because we do not handle the transactions—Apple does.

We have seen cases where users confuse us with an app named "Wisey" (an ADHD app).

To resolve this:

1. Please check your Apple ID > Subscriptions. If the charge is indeed from Wisely (our app), you can request a refund directly through Apple, and it will be granted per their policy.
2. If you do not see us there, you were likely charged by the other app.

Please contact our support team via the Profile section of our app. We are happy to help you verify which app charged you so you can get your money back.
