### 2/5 — Good when it works

*2026-06-17, version 1.5.2*

I really like the lesson plan they give you and how personalized it is, it was actually really helping me and I like that they break it down into short and sweet lessons so it doesn’t feel like you need to take a long time to make progress towards self help. However today no matter what I did my next lesson wouldn’t unlock after completing the previous one so after trying a couple different things I tried logging out and logging back in. Now I can’t even log into my account, which is doubly frustrating since I spent money on this app.

### 1/5 — Money grab

*2026-06-09, version 1.5.2*

The app is not what was advertised in the ad, there is more work involved in it then advertised. Their money back guarantee is false, they want you to use it for at least a 14 day streak and send screen shots according to one rep and the next rep tells you there is no refunds or exchanges. Upon registering they automatically charged me an additional $1 separately which looks like it would be their biweekly $1 a week plan which I was offered when trying to get a refund. Stay away. Save your money back

### 1/5 — Completely dissatisfied.

*2026-06-09, version 1.5.2*

I signed up through an Instagram advertisement that promoted a heavily discounted 4-week trial. I was not aware that the subscription would automatically continue, and the following month Wisey charged nearly AUD $120 from my account.
I contacted support and explained that I had never actually used the software, but they still insisted on charging me. After extensive back-and-forth, they only agreed to refund 50% of the charge.
Based on my experience, the advertising and subscription process was not transparent, and customer service was not helpful. I would not recommend this service and would advise others to be very careful before signing up.

### 1/5 — Deceptive billing and unauthorized charges

*2026-06-08, version 1.5.2*

100% scam. AVOID! App will ask you for an e book and won’t clarify that it’s $45 dollar on recurring monthly basis. Con artists and deceptive billing. It does NOT state what the cost is!

### 1/5 — Do not download

*2026-06-05, version 1.5.2*

The app closes automatically after a while. It annoys you so much because you ll have to open the app literally 10 times before you can finish reading one article. Trust me, do not fall for this please, there are other way you can help yourself. This one is a scam.

### 1/5 — ILLEGAL Subscription Trap – Breach of Australian Consumer Law Section 18

*2026-06-05, version 1.5.2*

I am currently preparing a formal complaint to the ACCC regarding this app‘s illegal subscription practices.

What this app does：

Subscribing is fast and easy, but cancellation is not possible directly in the app at all – you MUST go through customer service via email. This is a classic ”subscription trap“ that the ACCC is actively targeting. Additionally, key terms about auto-renewal are hidden in fine print.

Violation of Australian Consumer Law – Section 18：

Section 18 of the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) prohibits conduct that is misleading or deceptive. Concealing cancellation options and making users jump through hoops to exit a subscription is explicitly recognised by the ACCC as misleading conduct that violates Section 18.

ACCC enforcement action ongoing：

The ACCC has already filed cases against major companies for identical behaviour. In 2025, the ACCC sued Microsoft for hiding a cheaper subscription option behind the cancellation process affecting approximately 2.7 million Australians. The ACCC has also sued HelloFresh and Youfoodz for making cancellations impossible without calling customer service, impacting over 100,000 consumers. The ACCC has sued multiple companies for subscription cancellation traps.

Penalties are severe：

From 28 March 2026, maximum penalties for ACL breaches have increased significantly – up to $100 million per contravention for corporations, plus mandatory consumer redress and compliance programs.

Dark patterns are a 2026-27 enforcement priority：

The ACCC has confirmed that manipulative practices in digital markets, including subscription traps and dark patterns, are a core enforcement priority for 2026-27. The regulator has stated that interface designs that manipulate consumer behaviour and unfairly impact consumer choice are squarely in its crosshairs.

If you are an Australian user：

Screenshot your subscription page and cancellation attempts immediately. If you have been charged after attempting to cancel, file a consumer complaint with the ACCC. I will be filing mine shortly.

Wisey: I expect this to be rectified. Otherwise, the ACCC will hear from me.

### 1/5 — Listen to the warnings

*2026-06-04, version 1.5.2*

I agreed to around a $10 one time fee for a 28-day plan. Nowhere was it made plain that there would be automatic or additional charges beyond a 28-day plan. Now suddenly I’m slapped with a $50 fee for an app that wasn’t working for me, and all support said when I asked for a refund was “you agreed to be charged the $50, but don’t worry we’ve now canceled your subscription so you won’t be billed anymore!”. I agreed to $10. I was fine with being out $10 for a program I was uncertain of. So if you are also debating, DON’T try this app unless you have plenty of expendable income, because they will hide the subscription fees and then turn around and tell you that you should have read more carefully. I literally never leave reviews but $50 PER MONTH is ridiculous.

### 1/5 — Feel like a scammer

*2026-06-04, version 1.5.2*

I accidentally signed up for this app, they charged my card four times and sent me two brochures with the information which is easily accessible on the google. On my request to have a refund immediately after the purchase I’ve got a denying email. Highly not recommended app.

### 4/5 — A little confused

*2026-06-03, version 1.5.2*

I am not sure how this process works but I think the first part is something I do every day and is updated upon completion and I am not repeating the same thing?
I hope I am correct in that thinking?
So I will proceed with that in mind.
I do like the concept of adapting a new thought process to how I perceive tackling tasks, that is useful for how my brain works.

### 1/5 — Scam artists

*2026-06-03, version 1.5.2*

Don’t get duped. Make sure you read all the other negative reviews before signing up. But do yourself a favor and don’t. You’ll see a response to this review from Wisey asking me to reach out to their customer support team so they can help. I already have, and they won’t. If you do sign up for wisey, good luck.

### 1/5 — Disgraceful app

*2026-06-03, version 1.5.2*

I downloaded this app out of curiosity and made the mistake of exploring the subscription options. Without any clear indication I would be charged, I was hit with multiple charges for things I simply tapped on while navigating the app. There was no transparency, no clear warning, and no confirmation that I understood what I was agreeing to pay for.

When I reached out to support to ask for a refund, a completely reasonable request, I was not met with any attempt to help. Instead, they tried to upsell me on a lifetime plan.

This is not a legitimate business practice. It is predatory and deceptive.

### 1/5 — Expect to be robbed

*2026-06-02, version 1.5.2*

The app will charge you multiple times for subscription you have not requested and will make it impossible to cancel/ get a refund.

### 1/5 — Scam company will suck your credit card

*2026-06-02, version 1.5.2*

Scam company will suck your credit card

### 1/5 — Overpriced

*2026-06-02, version 1.5.2*

I’d give a zero if I could. Do not subscribe to this app. You are given a “free trial” with no reminder your free trial is ending and then you’ll be charged $70 a month!!! What sort of app costs $70 a month?! Not to mention I contacted them the day it came out of account I had never signed in once to the app and they refused to refund.

### 1/5 — Shouldn’t be on the App Store

*2026-06-02, version 1.5.2*

These people will charge you over and over and over after you cancel. Do not download this app, it sucks, i accidentally downloaded it off an instagram add and it started charging me. I thought it was like a daily planner /calendar, totally deceptive advertising.

### 1/5 — A Scam

*2026-05-31, version 1.5.2*

Appalling with constant traps to scam you for more money. I immediately requested cancellation I’ll update with further issues

### 1/5 — beware!

*2026-05-31, version 1.5.2*

they will steal your money if you don't cancel your trial didnt use the app at all and charged me 48.50 for downloading the app. also go ahead and cancel your subscription because it quickly goes from 48.50 a month to 49.95 for life to 1 dollar bi weekly. they have the language in the contract to allow them to do this. i plan to put them on blast and dispute the charge with my credit card company. poor business ethics. void the Boyd .

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Scam Scam Scam

*2026-08-19, version 1.6.2*

Cancelled Subscription before renewal but they ignored that request and billed me anyway. Taking this up with Lloyds Bamk

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-08-06, version 1.6.2*

Lessons are for kindergarten kids. Features are simple and quite useless

### 1/5 — Difficult to cancel subscription

*2026-07-18, version 1.6.2*

Do not recommend

### 1/5 — No value for the dollar

*2026-07-16, version 1.6.2*

This app has content that is not terribly helpful. Most of the information presented is generic and available for free in many other locations. And like most other apps of this nature, the subscription renewal pricing jumps dramatically making the already poor value boarder on predatory.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2026-07-01, version 1.6.2*

What a waste of money. Paying for nothing. Do not buy this app. It does absolutely nothing for £45. I would like my money back.

### 1/5 — App is ok- cancelling is Not

*2026-06-30, version 1.6.0*

Had the app, didn’t use it, tried to cancel my subscription and had to cancel my credit card to get the charge requests to stop.

### 1/5 — Frauds

*2026-06-23, version 1.6.0*

I don’t even know how but I have been charged $310 for an app I didn’t know I had!

### 1/5 — Terrible UX and Customer service

*2026-06-15, version 1.5.2*

App was awful to use and very confusing, when I tried to cancel due to not being able to use the app as I was in hospital, their customer service, which was definitely AI, tried to sell me more products rather than actually help.

### 1/5 — Scam!!!!

*2026-06-12, version 1.5.2*

App absolutely waste of money. First payment trail to take my money twice. Next month took 40$ without subscription.
I have lost 50$ and the have my bank details. I had to cancel the card.
I wish I had read the reviews. I am soooo upset. Do no buy this app!!!!

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2026-06-11, version 1.5.2*

This “plan” advertised for ADHD is an app that requires hours of reading something you could have asked AI for and a few other things that are absolutely not worth paying and exorbitant amount for monthly. Not all of the “tips” are even relevant to ADHD specifically. Beware - the monthly renewal is automatic unless you unsubscribe and customer service will refuse to refund you. I call that a SCAM.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The blessing of other peoples expertise

*2026-06-10, version 1.5.2*

This Wisey app is spectacular in its ease of navigation and practical and pragmatic (and quite obviously intuitive) thought-provoking questions and guidance. I am loving it and I’ve only done the first 15 minutes and already it has proven to have touched me really deeply where I did not think there was any help. I’m grateful for this companies rollout of suggestions and mindfulness for how to create the space in my head and heart to actually make a commitment to myself in order to grow and be a better everything.

### 5/5 — You changed my life.

*2026-06-08, version 1.5.2*

Thank you so much, I seriously love you guys!

### 5/5 — Got my ADHD attention

*2026-06-03, version 1.5.2*

Early into the app - it is making sense to me - I do not feel alone - I feel hopeful .

### 5/5 — Duran

*2026-05-09, version 1.5.1*

Exactly right

### 5/5 — amazing

*2026-04-24, version 1.5.0*

Only day 1 and two lessons in and already I am understanding myself 💯 better.
adhd explained in simple terms . Highly recommend this app

### 5/5 — Day 1 - still really good

*2026-04-10, version 1.4.0*

Countering all the negative reviews. It’s proving to be a really good app but it’s only day 1.

### 5/5 — So impressed

*2026-02-09*

Wisey is a great productivity app! The interface is clean and easy to use, and the features helped me stay focused and organized throughout the day. I really liked how simple it was to build good habits without feeling overwhelmed. Definitely worth trying if you want to be more productive.

### 5/5 — Procrastination overview

*2026-02-01*

The first short lesson, as laid out with animations and commentary kept me engaged, even though the immense sleep deprivation has had me scattered.
I now have direction. I know my first step is to rest, which may be possible tonight.
I now feel like I have direction to rebuild cognitive clarity, also a deeper understanding of a scope of my condition, that has been broken down into categories that I feel I can manage one by one, ultimately the feeling of overwhelming anxiety has diminished substantially. My mind is now at peace. I feel like my insomnia will not be a problem any more. My hope has been restored.

### 5/5 — Balanced Approach

*2026-01-19*

What stood out to me is how Wisey balances productivity with emotional awareness. That cọmbination feels rare.

### 5/5 — Cool app

*2026-01-06*

Habit tracker is great for building lasting routines — super helpful!
