I tried to point her in the direction of Canadian stores that might work but that wasn’t followed through on. Plus buying clothes online is challenging even with measurements. I spent over $350 on a pair of jeans and don’t like the cut at all and can’t send them back. ### 4/5 — Excellent service, buggy app *2025-05-24, version 12.4.0* I have paid personal stylists in the past and had no problem dropping thousands of dollars to get styled. I cannot believe the price of this service because in my opinion it’s just as good or better than some of the stylus. I work with my only issue is that the app is pretty buggy sometimes I can’t go back and purchase from older mood boards. I have done dozens of sessions and sometimes I go back and buy stuff when I get a bonus or something. Also, the payment doesn’t work great and sometimes when you add to cart, it doesn’t work great. It doesn’t stop me from hiring because most of the time it works great. I love the variety of stylist. I have worked with two different ones and was pretty impressed. I was worried about them, not meeting me in person or knowing my body shape, but really didn’t have any issues. There were lots of European brands. I just didn’t understand the sizing so I had to order things a few times before I got it right but no big deal. ### 2/5 — Super Glitchy *2025-04-11, version 12.3.0* The app is super glitchy. Communicating with a stylist is a major effort with some messages getting through, and others getting stuck. Got some product ideas that were just blank images, got someone else’s board. I really wanted to like this but after two failed stylings in which the stylist did not consider the feedback I had provided and the information given when signing up, I decided it was not a good fit. I don’t see the point in taking my time to answer all those questions for them to ignore my input. Then we had a direct chat and I made clear that this had happened and gave detailed feedback of what I did and did not like but the stylist literally sent me things that I had said were a hard no (eg certain prints, type of shoes, etc). It’s almost like a bot was doing the styling. The owner messages in the beginning to check on your experience and I was honest with her as well. She offered to change stylists. After looking at the others available, I inevitably decided that we’d tried enough and that it was not a good service. I messaged the owner and explained my concerns and that I would like a refund instead as this fell short of their promise because my feedback was not taken into consideration AT ALL. I was promptly informed that “Wishi does not do refunds.” I would totally agree with that if I just didn’t like what was provided but they had clearly used my feedback however when the staff did not use my initial survey and answers OR the feedback, how is this non refundable? Honestly, I would stay clear of it. There are too many high end stores that will style for you. I just didn’t know that before I did this. Good luck! ### 5/5 — Great value *2022-11-25, version 10.0.0* I have done two "mini" sessions for $40 each, about a year apart with different stylists. In both cases just an amazing experience. Super helpful, patient, non judgmental. I am not a fashionista in the sense of following all the trends or knowing how to put together a great look but I still want to look good, and this service is just what I need. Stylists have pushed me out of my comfort zone but not so hard that it hurts. The app itself has issues and the website technology is also a little rocky BUT I still highly recommend. The stylists have patiently helped me navigate the bugs. My advice - Use Wishi and talk to a real person who can send you ideas from all over the web. don't waste $20 at that subscription service that sends the same things to everyone, and don't choose the one that locks you into one department store's offerings. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2026-02-27, version 13.0.0* I was working w two different stylists for over a month and got nothing to show from it. My stylist was communicative at first, but there was no conversation about what type of items I had in my wardrobe to build from. Then, when I provided feedback on a few items that were duplicative of what I currently owned, she said she would resolve but never actually provided new recommendations. Then, she rushed onto a second board and when I provided feedback on the second, she never addressed and immediately sent me a third board. The cherry on top of this one star rating? Everything I tried to purchase through the site/app to give my “stylist” the commission was backordered or sold out. They gave me a refund for one, and I’m now inquiring what happened to the second. Shouldn’t something that’s sold out automatically trigger a refund? This feels less like connecting stylists with customers, and more like AI generated bots trying to sell specific items. When I consulted alternate stylist boards, it’s amazing how identical items keep reappearing. Oh, and did I mention they were the ones that were sold out? Good idea in theoru, bad in application. Go to Saks or Neiman and do your personal shopping there. ### 1/5 — Not for everyone *2023-02-27, version 10.1.0* The app has glitches, especially in the chat function. They assume you know designer brands before assigning you a stylist. They do not listen to feedback and then tell you to try another service such as StitchFix. You don’t get the services you pay for and if you have a problem and want a new stylist? Good luck getting in touch with anyone. They just ignore you. Want a refund? You’ll never get it. The messaging app is buggy and doesn’t work well at all. There is no support team or anyway to contact a real human. Their online reviews are all paid for/made up or bots. And there is no one holding the company accountable. Plenty of other styling services out there that are far superior and honest. Don’t fall for their marketing tricks, it’s just a bunch of lies. ### 1/5 — Fraudulent company *2022-07-20, version 8.0.2* This app is fraudulent: The stylists are not who they claim to be. The reviews are made up. The services you pay extra for, like a video chat, are not services you actual get. And their marketing that claims you can “get styled by Karla Welsh herself!” is a lie. My stylist claimed to be some high end fashion stylist from Italy who worked at Vogue, Cosmo, etc. She was not. She sounded like a teenage girl working in a foreign call center. Does the app sound too good to be true? That’s because it’s a sham. Save your money, go with a different company. And if you’ve had a similar experience to mine, report the company to the FTC and contact your credit card company for a refund. This company needs to be put out of business. ### 1/5 — Are these stylists real? *2022-05-11, version 8.0.0* Not sure these are real stylists or if they are meant to just push clothes for certain brands. (Ex: everything comes back Revolve…..) chose my stylist based on the fact she was my closest match- minimal/ streestyle esque looks. I ordered a closest clean out on 4/22 & still only have 3 looks I only “loved” to get the process moving along. Stylist doesn’t seem to care what I want, but rather what she thinks I should want. I tried giving some feedback about who I am & what I’m looking for & she’s ghosted me. I won’t end up buying any of the clothes anyway- none of these looks are groundbreaking, but I’d like to get what I paid for. ### 1/5 — Waste of money- do not sign up *2021-11-04, version 6.1.0* Stylists are incompetent, whatever you ask for is ignored and stylists will show you exactly what you said you didn’t want. They will take your time and money and by the end you will be frustrated, have lost days, and will realize time better spent using another service or doing it yourself. ### 1/5 — Horrible and misleading *2021-11-03, version 6.1.0* No where on this app do they mention that by responding during your 7 day trial automatically charges you. When signing up I saw 7 day trial and thought I’d give it a try. After a mood board was sent that did not match my style I expressed my concerns and gave feedback. A look was provided to me that did not take into consideration any of my feedback. All of a sudden I get a charge on my card and immediately contact their customer service. I’m told sorry that because I responded (despite explaining the situation) I’m out my money.
