I keep searching for alternatives that have IOS native support and will switch if one comes out. I'm only using my voice. I like that it corrects things for you and it pretty much picks up pauses or if you make a mistake, you can kinda retract without having to enter the whole message again. I think that's really intuitive and it's pretty good at not making mistakes and learning from your voice as well. So definitely five star. I am also now using it on my iPad that I just got and over here it's not as convenient as it is on laptops but it is adequate. What Apple delivers is basically unusable garbage. Apple today is worse than Android was five years ago. It's really a huge embarrassment for Apple that they fail in such a massive way. Back to Wispr Flow, the dictation is good but of course the problem is that it's not native so the integration is terrible. There's just a huge amount of friction every time you use it. I suppose if you just wanted to have a very long text note where you just turned it on and spoke for many minutes then it would be more reasonable. If you're using it for small dictations here and there, it just becomes immensely painful. I have to close the app everytime I use it. It’ll say it’s listening but doesn’t hear a thing I say and doesn’t even say “hold on a sec while it’s trying to transcribe” it just doesn’t even hear. It takes me closing the app completely to work again, so this isn’t ideal when it’s worked great for so long. Now I don’t even want to use it because it’s too much of a headache so I find myself typing more than ever.
