I tried these guys out with the intention of paying it all back the second I could, so I’d avoid paying that insane interest rate. However, after creating my profile and logging in for the first time successfully, I learned that you can’t just pay them back right away. They make you schedule the payment and the earliest day you can pick is a week out. I scheduled the payment for as much as I could and waited for the next payday to pay more. This time… I couldn’t log in. I had to wait for a verification code that was to be sent to me email. It never came. An hour later it finally did but now I had to do it all over again. After several attempts, I gave up. You have to call a number but I did not have time that day to be tied up on the phone. This kept happening. Sometimes, a code is never sent at all or it tells me I used the wrong password. Which isn’t possible because I screenshot my password for this exact reason. After some months later, I’m finally ready to pay it off. Suddenly I am able to log in. With no problems. Of course this after they have made so much money off of me with the interest. They don’t make it easy to pay them back. I don’t know if it’s the apps fault or just the whole system but steer clear from these guys. Borrow from someone else. Believe me, you will regret using this. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-04-23, version 2.8* Can’t login ### 1/5 — BIGGEST SCAM EVER!!!! *2025-04-22* This company charges you the highest interest you’ll ever dealt with! Every time I put down the money that I have to pay each week, my fee is double that amount each week…. So it becomes impossible to pay off this loan when I have other bills! Just saying for y’all, never use WithU Loans!!!!! ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE *2025-04-16* I highly highly recommend never using this app or this company. Their interest rates are through the roof and will cripple you. It makes it impossible to keep up and pay it off, and you are literally wasting money. ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE WITHU LOANS *2025-04-05, version 2.6* DO NOT FALL FOR THIS LOAN COMPANY! They will ROB YOU!! Loan agreement was shady and unclear, I was made to pay $1000 on a $400 loan!! THIS IS EXTORTION AND THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!! ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-04-05, version 2.6* I regret immensely that I took out a loan with them. Bad customer service, people are very rude, and it’s very expensive loans. Be carful please ### 1/5 — Thieves *2025-02-06, version 2.5* This WithU loans are thieves and criminals. A 1300 dollar loan and they are forcing me to pay 127.84 every WEEK to pay it off not only that they changed my payment method to weekly when I had specifically chose to pay monthly and now they are essentially asking I pay $6638.74 for a year loan. They made it impossible for me to save up money in order to pull myself out of this hole. They’re thieves and will take advantage of every customer. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-01-28, version 2.5* They take more from you than what they actually lend & they’re very misleading when you sign up for the loan ### 1/5 — App stalls *2025-01-09* App is not working at all get stuck in the page with the pictures of people does not go anywhere from there and there is no menu to choose from🙄🙄 ### 1/5 — Horrible *2024-12-15, version 2.4.0* This won’t let me login and I put everything correct wasted my time and I need to login asap I changed my password 4 times already and rechecked my user ughh ### 1/5 — Don’t ever use this *2024-11-30* If you truly really need a loan, go ahead and use some, but do not use the app. Never let you login anytime. It claims to send you an email since the email after the timeframe or send you an old email. Call customer care and it hangs up on you. The website is not much better will claim you don’t have an account just all around bad I spent 20 minutes just trying to get into my account to see once my last pay period. And still wasn’t able to. ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2024-11-30* Hello everyone, I would advise against downloading this application, as 99.9% of the time you will encounter issues logging in. Furthermore, attempting to change your password can be futile, as the password reset email may not arrive, despite checking your spam folder. If the email does arrive, the link provided may be useless, redirecting you back to the sign-in page. If you value your time, I would recommend exploring alternative options. I have never left reviews previously, but the two-hour ordeal to change a password highlights a significant issue. I will not be conducting business with them again. ### 1/5 — Never Again *2024-11-20* I’ll give a no star if I can! I was told there wasn’t going to be any interest of I paid it off before 90 days. Turns out that the complete opposite the apr increase every single day ! Let that sink in so the monthly payments I make half of that goes str8 to the principal ### 1/5 — 400.25% interest rate!!! *2024-11-05, version 2.3.0* DONT FALL FOR IT!! This is a LOANSHARK!!! ### 1/5 — Avoid if you can *2024-10-31* The app and website are very difficult to use. I haven’t even been able to log into my app as it won’t input the password the Apple suggested. When I tried to change it to a password I could reasonable input, it still doesn’t work. I have had to change my pw literally every time I log into the app or the website. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2024-10-22, version 2.2.0* This app is HORRIBLE!!! Takes forever to get 2FA code via email and when you type tge code in it doesn’t even work! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Read Asap *2026-07-15* Do not do it. I recommend you to figure it out another way. I had to take out a loan last year around Christmas cause I had a huge bill. I only took $500 & I am still paying $60 a week. I’ve been paying since Christmas of 2025 & we are in July of 2026. This has been the worse decision I ever made in life. It has put me so far behind versus actually need that $500 at the moment. I will never make a mistake like this again. Do not take a loan from this place. The website barely work & it doesn’t show you how much you’ve paid already. I’ve paid over $2,000 for a $500 loan. ### 1/5 — The high interest rate!! *2026-05-16, version 2.21* I took out of a $2500 loan. My interest rate is 410.87!!!!! I can never pay off due to the super high interest…The company is such a scam…they just trying to eat your money right away… If I don’t pay it off quick, it takes almost $8000 to pay off…. ### 1/5 — USC 501c consumer protection violations *2026-02-06* They front load interest which is illegal and will lock your account if you miss a payment making you spend 20 plus minutes getting in ### 1/5 — Big scam *2026-02-05, version 2.16* They want you to enter all this info or say you were pre approved but when you look at it closely it’s all a scam. I was approved for a $1300 loan then the fine print says no-weekly payment of 193.93 for 25 payments. That’s over $4000 for a $1300 loan. This is insane and should be illegal. They are praying on the poor and putting them further in debt. 😱🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ ### 1/5 — Estafadores *2025-10-29, version 2.13* Son unos estafadores, no pidan préstamos con ellos. No les dan ninguna información sobre cómo funcionan los pagos y les cobran un interés altísimo. Mi préstamo era de $2000 y tenía que pagar $459 cada dos semanas durante 12 meses. Yes you who might need an urgent loan but please read all the 1 stars reviews! Everyone is saying the truth. This guys don’t tell you about the interest until you get the loan in your account! I got approved 1.600 usd, then my monthly payment was 285 every 2 weeks and I was paying and today I checked and I have paid 1.700 so i though it was done but guess what? I had to pay other 1.600 to pay it off because they put it for 12 months and I was going to end it up paying almost 8.000 usd! No complaints ### 5/5 — Great for bad credit and needing money asap *2024-03-01* So… the interest rates are insane. However, if you really just need money RIGHT before you get paid, this is perfect. It gives you the option to pay your loan off early. I borrowed $1000 and will be paying it off before the first payment at $1025. In total, it only cost me $25 to borrow.
