It must have been a frustrating experience and totally valid feedback. We are look into fixing the page break behavior so you can start a new page whenever you want to Appreciate you taking the time to let us know. Currently, the only way you can add a new page is at the bottom of the sidebar and it is always available to the user to add a a new page. If there is a specific area/place you would like for us to add this new page button functionality do let us know . We will add that to the new version which we are working on .
