## What is Wizard?

The official iPhone version of the card game Wizard.

Meet the card game that's challenging, habit-forming and loads of fun! It's Wizard: a unique game with a 60 card deck!

The rules are simple and easy to learn... mastering the strategy is the real challenge. One card is dealt to each player on the first round, two cards on the second, and so on. Players bid the number of tricks they think they will win. Make the exact number of tricks bid and you win points; too many or too few and you lose points. The Wizard and Jester cards add a "wild card" element to the strategy.

Play against the sophisticated built-in AI players, or choose a network game of up to 4 friends playing over the internet.

The game itself is a great idea but the BOTS know your hand and work against You to ensure your bid is incorrect. Best played with other REAL people, NOT FUN to lose every frick'n time in Solo mode !

AI game gives opponents an advantage when playing solo and often misplays to force a loss for the solo player. For example, we were dealt 2 cards each and one AI opponent had 2 wizards but only bid one trick signaling a weaker hand and deliberately losing the trick.  Statistically too many wizards appear early in every game.

Macht sehr viel Spaß und man kann süchtig werden! Die einzige App, die ich stundenlang spielen kann. Eine Variante, mit der man sich allgemein im Netz verbinden kann fehlt noch. Ansonsten top umgesetzt!

You can play this without being on the same wifi network, so that is wonderful. Plays just like the real game. Two changes would help: 
1. Allow orientation to change to landscape if players turn their phone to make it easier to see your hand. 
2. Enable this app for download on a windows computer (not just Apple) so we could play without straining our eyes. 
Thank you for making this. It’s our family’s favorite card game!

I love Wizard, and although this app is clearly outdated and runs like it’s made for iPhone 4, this app feels just like a real Wizard game. The CPUs are somewhat predictable but vary in skill, just like a real game. The only downfall is the online aspect of the game, which could benefit from being able to actually play against real people. You can change house rules and scoring, and the game runs smooth.

This  is an ok app, except when you play it in solo mode. The NPCs almost always have a wizard during every hand and there are so many rounds with no trump. Seems like the randomized shuffle needs adjusting.
