Great premise for a game/story but it’s apparent the author one put enough effort into this work to bait others into paying $$, after-witch leaving you with a bitter taste as the you realize there was effectively nothing on the other side of the pay-wall.

A text-book example of bait and switch. Pardon the pun. With its present, overall, content (11/7/20) it would be a good-ish free download. 

In short, if you don’t like the idea of paying for nothing more than a prologue I would avoid.

Not worth the money you go on four or five missions you’re done. The mission are extremely short. They should be ashamed for trying charge money for an incomplete game. You Skip learning every single spell. There is no character development.

A great game with multiple pathways and great replay value! Clearly much effort went into writing all the different parts, and it was great to see that choices had a great influence on the outcome from the very start!

Having played the free section my curiosity was awakened - what could happen next, do we get to become Wizard level B or even A? Could we get wizardry jobs? I loved the questions this posed but upon purchasing the expansion I was... awfully disappointed.

Playing through multiple times revealed that your choices make about 0% difference to the gameplay, with about two choices affecting another choice at a later date. The "rest of the game" content was barely the same amount as the free, which for the price it was was frankly astounding. It was boring content with little appeal to the player. Many of the quest options pursued made no difference at the end (no matter what I tried the unicorn hair was pointless).

Highly disappointing, as I am something of a connoisseur of Choice of Games and Hosted Games, this was definitely the sour apple of the bunch. Personally I would like a refund although I'm sure this won't happen. 

For a game with such potential, I find myself frustrated. Honestly, it feels half finished, a project submitted because the author was bored of looking at it. Spelling, grammatical and story errors are present everywhere. I know how extraordinarily easy ChoiceScript is to program so how are there so many mistakes?! The game functions fine from a code perspective but evidently skipped the peer review. Come on Hosted Games, this is abysmal! Who even checks these nowadays?

Tl;dr AVOID AT ALL COSTS! However, make sure to another game from the developers, I'm certain you won't be disappointed.

Not enough to pay for the rest, mind you, but I found it charming. I wouldn't mind looking at more ads to play the whole thing for free.

I respect what the writer was go my for but the writer really needs to work on making the story flow, and pulling you into the world. This is just to bland, to narrative, to forced. You discover a manic book and have powers and there's no emotional shock? No best friend you have to tell? No playing around with the powers like a kid? Just jumping from one task to the next.  I'm sad about what this book could have been.

As others have said this was offal. Very short and very unentertaining. I was falling asleep when playing, basically the whole story is you doing missions which are very easy and short.

Some parts, and I mean some, were good. Such as, the story ending if you hand in the book, once I did that, thought I would have lots of choices in this game. I didn't, it's vague at best, everything is meshed together, you just accept that you are a wizard now, that's it done, once you pick a magic spec you master it, you can time travel but that isn't explained or expanded like "meh now I can sleep more", I could go on but I won't.

There is a good story there, it was fun, but some of the choices didn't matter and felt forced or mundane. 

Don't let me discourage you from writing, it was fun and it is good in its own way, but the choice isn't there, or is too vaguely done.

Loved the feature to go back to a key point and that the story can suddenly change, such as turning into a dragon and such.

All said and done, keep it up and try your best, and improve what YOU think needs improved

Recommended for a intro to interactive novels to get a feeling, but do try others
