Love the wizardly spin, especially about the moon and the elements. The app itself is also pretty amazing as far as the built in book is concerned. Most of us are just not that psychic and the Tarot is our path for connecting to that world. Some of it is. But I was taken aback by the court cards for the Pentacles portion. The Queen and King of Pentacles, especially, look slovenly, mean-spirited and sullen. In fact, just now, AFTER I had handwritten this review, I read the text that goes with the King and even the author admits that he looks sullen. I don't get it. There's a lot to like elsewhere in this deck. Why would the people who created and/or produced this deck choose this direction for this one group of cards? Worth every penny. ### 5/5 — Loving my lessons at the Mandrake Academy. *2017-06-07* It's like I finally got my acceptance letter to the magical school of my dreams. The authors' description of the Tarot using Mandrake Academy as the Universe is a magical concept. The cards are well described and inspiring. While the artwork is perfectly subtle while sticking closely to traditional scenes. I hope to see more from the Mandrake Academy, as I am a long time student of cartomancy and cleromancy.
