## What is Wizard's Toolkit Demo App?

This is the low-code development demo app for Wizard's Toolkit.  Start your app and/or website with this database and code.  Wizard's Toolkit uses PHP, MySQL or PostgreSQL, and JavaScript to make extremely fast data-driven apps.  This is the low-code solution to save you months of development and make building your custom solution quick and easy using low-code tools.  You own all source code and host on your own servers.  There are no limitations to customizations or enhancements since you have the source code.

Charts are built using Chart.js.  The default HTML/CSS is MaterializeCSS but WTK will work with any HTML framework.

Wizard's Toolkit (aka WTK) works equally well with MySQL and PostgreSQL using PDO for connectivity with PHP.  The code is extremely intuitive and over 40 demo pages give simple yet complete examples of how to do all major features.

This demo app shows several color theme options as well as dark versus light themes.  WTK also comes with a CSS Styler so you can create your own custom color theme.

The ad-hoc report builder using only SQL is a powerful built-in tool.  Checking a single checkbox can add bar, line or pie charts to any well defined SQL report.

The WTK-Builder is an admin web page which generates PHP pages based solely on SQL table and column names.  Our code writes code.

WTK was originally designed in 2009.  The core database has been honed and speed optimized over the years to handle most client scenarios, indexed for speed, and designed for both security level and staff role considerations.

Using SPA (Single Page Application) design provides the fastest user experience possible.  Static pages are retrieved and cached only once.  Data-driven aspects are never cached.  Most importantly, the code is intuitive and easy to read, modify and enhance.  Adding new pages is quick and easy with WTK.
