### 2/5 — Had potential but no

*2026-01-13, version 7.0*

The visualizations aren’t bad at all. You can’t play any music files that are in your iCloud. The real big problem is that there’s a huge pop-up trying to sell you stuff every few seconds that doesn’t go away unless you close it that’s a dealbreaker. Would be fine if the ad was small and at the bottom. Deleted.

### 4/5 — kinda like this app

*2025-04-16, version 6.5.1*

only thing i would like is if you please could repair the bridge between your app and my apple music ?

### 4/5 — Almost there…

*2023-12-07, version 6.4.2*

Dull and bright backgrounds are not best option for projections neither it looks good. Either it should be optionally adjustable or simply “transparent”, which is black.

### 4/5 — Nice App

*2022-06-12, version 5.0*

Great visualizations, great variety of visualizations.

Any chance of a “Select All” option in future versions which can allow a user to select all of the songs in their library?

### 4/5 — Lovely images, no save

*2022-05-24, version 4.5*

This is far and away the best visualiser for sound on IOS. But, what it really needs is a way to freeze and save stills.

### 4/5 — It's the only good free one

*2019-10-29, version 3.6*

I love this app, best free audio Visualizer but you’ve changed how music is sorted, I can’t fix it back, and I need help. Please, I just want my songs to be in alphabetical order by title instead of artist!

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2017-06-29, version 3.4*

Graphics are really dull and lifeless.they don't appear to be reacting to any music I play.load of rubbish

### 3/5 — Visuals are stellar, functionality not so much.

*2017-02-02, version 3.1*

I can't get it to play when I want to, can't silence it when I need to, and wireless headphones are a no-go. Three stars for the quality of the visuals. Great job on that.

### 3/5 — Some good animation but...

*2016-12-06, version 3.1*

... it needs to be able to play DRM protected songs. Also, being able to use fingers to alter and interact with the animation would be great.

### 1/5 — Not worth the money 👎👎👎

*2016-06-23, version 3.0*

This was so disappointing. It doesn't react to the music at all. Instead, it seems like just a video that jumps around a bit to act like it's reacting to the music. It kind of works if the song is just a simple beat, but once you add ANYTHING more, it reverts back to a plain video. There were some different visualizers you could choose from, but no way to change the color scheme. It was a complete waste of my money. I'm going to delete the app. I wish I could get a refund. 😑

### 1/5 — Crashes on iOS 9/iPad Air 1st gen

*2015-11-21, version 1.3*

As soon as I touch the plus sign to add a song the app crashes.

### 1/5 — Major flaws

*2024-09-29, version 6.5.1*

Your app produces great looking visualizations, so I hope that you can fix these flaws.

1 Using my iPad, there is no way to export the visualizations other than doing a screen recording.
2 Tapping the music button does not display all of the music in my library. For example, I have 80 artists in my music library, but only eight are displayed under “artists” with the wizzj app. With one artist, wizzj only displays one song out of twenty.
3 I cannot access my own music and Garage Band.
4 There is no easy way to deselect all of the items on the menu. For example if I only want to use Disco Sun, I have to unselect all the other items separately.

### 1/5 — Waste of money - Doesn’t play Apple Music

*2024-05-29, version 6.5.1*

First of all it shows ads blocking the visuals until you pay $5. Then you realize it doesn’t play most Apple Music through the app. Save your money. It’s a rip off!

### 1/5 — Fake reviews. This app does not work.

*2023-11-27*

Like at all. It asked to have access to my media then loads, then crashes.

The U.I looks like it was in the 1970’s
The text, the font, all of it is underwhelming

Che k out the app “Frax” which is fully function for the same tool.

Zero stars.

Sorry to leave such a harsh review but it’s 100% true. 😓

### 1/5 — Music visualizer that stops the music?

*2022-06-03, version 5.0*

I start a song then switch to the app to watch it work, and it stops playing the music. What’s the point? Deleted.

Edit after dev response: You might want to make clear that it works only with music in the iOS Music library. I use another music app and service, but this app doesn’t work with them. (Although it asks for access to the microphone for some reason.)

### 1/5 — Useless it makes my Bluetooth useless

*2019-02-01, version 3.6*

What good is an app that renders your Bluetooth useless? Unbelievable!

### 1/5 — Faulty app

*2018-12-31, version 3.6*

It works one out of 10 times, keeps shutting down when I choose a song. Does not work!! I want my money back!

### 1/5 — No sound

*2018-02-15, version 3.4*

Doesn’t work when I open the app to music turns off no sound no output piece of crap was at my money back

### 1/5 — Outdated and inaccurate

*2018-01-23, version 3.4*

Graphics were on par with the visualizer I had on Windows 95’ music player 20 years ago, which synced/danced better than this app. As one of the other reviews mentioned, the visualizations just seem like random noise as opposed to pulsing/moving with whatever song you’re playing. Waste of money.

### 1/5 — Also doesn’t support bluetooth

*2017-12-27, version 3.4*

Everything the last reviewer complained about, and you can add lack of bluetooth audio support.

### 1/5 — No Apple Music support

*2017-10-22, version 3.4*

Doesn’t work with music playing from the iOS music app. Also can’t access Music that is stored in the cloud, or Apple Music; only music on your device.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Groovy Psychedelyc Vysualyzer

*2024-04-11, version 6.5.1*

WizzJ is potentially a top music visualizer styling in Psychedelia (best for LedZep, Doors & Jimi). Excellent job to Developer in latest update! All needs is an automatic shuffle mode for visuals themself, rather than having to arrange them manually. With that, WizzJ certainly is a top leading brand -

### 5/5 — Groovy Psychedelic Visualizer

*2024-04-01*

WizzJ is potentially a top Music Visualizer styling in Psychedelia (best for LedZep, Doors & Jimi). All needs is a shuffle mode for visuals and preferably a 10/15 second time elapse between visuals as 30 seconds is a bit lengthy. With that, WizzJ will be a Top Brand in The World! …and deserving of a 5 star rating!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

### 5/5 — Wonderful app. Great support.

*2022-06-07, version 5.0*

“Stop playback after the current track finishes playing” feature ( ->| ) makes this my only player.

I asked the developer for this feature, and he quickly added it.

I dislike stopping a track partway through. I wanted it to stop automatically so I could attend to other things while waiting for the track to end.

Winamp in Microsoft Windows had this feature decades ago, but I’ve never seen it on iOS before.

This app imports Apple Music playlists easily, and supports shuffle and repeat.

The cool visualizations are just a bonus for me.

### 5/5 — Works really well, great visuals

*2022-06-02, version 4.7*

My favorite music visualizer.

### 5/5 — Brings me joy 🤗

*2022-06-02, version 4.7*

After just a few minutes I can feel the stress melt away.

### 5/5 — Mesmerizing

*2018-01-02, version 3.4*

The visualizations are executed very well. Worth every penny to me as I like my screen dancing to the beats. I have only one request: program this to run PIP. I’d gladly pay one million dollars for that feature!!!!!

### 5/5 — FINALLY A REALLY REALLY GOOD REAL VISUALIZER!!!

*2017-08-04, version 3.4*

I've tried what seems like 100s of the crappy visualizers out there looking for something like good ole milkdrop for Winamp that can create mesmerizing fractals actually in tune with the music this one does all that and is worth actually paying for. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could, my only complaint is that it seemed a tiny bit behind the tempo of some of the songs with some of the fractals...almost not noticeable. Great job and I hope an update offers more patterns I LOVE IT!

### 5/5 — Unique to iOS, beautiful visualizer

*2017-03-27, version 3.2*

Beautifully crafted automata to match your music. Few apps are made in iOS for generative visualizations and this is by far the best quality; maybe the only app with very select choices of algorithms/colorizations.

### 5/5 — The BEST free music visualization app period

*2016-05-05, version 1.3*

There is simply no comparison to any other free app out there, the graphics are simply amazing and the fact that you can pick your own music and not be Limited is even better I recommend this to anybody that likes this kind of thing the developers are simply created an amazing and awesome for making this free thank you very much.

### 5/5 — Finally a real visualizer!

*2015-04-11, version 1.2*

Been looking exactly for this! Now if only it had the nice equalizer functions of a couple other apps - and if it would just play my playlists! Other than that! Six stars. You heard me six stars. Love it!
