The tools are placed in a way that reduces the size of the map and viewing area. One thing I liked was how clean and streamlined this app looked. Now it looks dated and too cluttered. ### 2/5 — Update crashes *2019-06-05, version 4.8.600* I've relied on this app for so long to know weather patterns in my area. Unfortunately, the newest update causes the app to crash. Every time I open the app, it starts to load then immediately crashes. Last week I updated my apps and now this app will not work, it loads and 1 second after it loads the weather it disappears.....just shuts down by itself. I ended up deleting it and now downloaded TWC app. So disappointed, wish I could have continued using WLTX. ### 1/5 — ZERO *2012-09-26, version 2.3* I've always enjoyed this app, BUT, then the Apple map changed everything. It blows up, time laps only shows a bleep of the activity. Radar detail is good and it refreshes automatically well. In other words the actual radar portion of this app is great! Where it could improve is with the layout. Huge banner on the top, huge legend, huge forecast. Also, no iPad "HD" version. This would blow everything else out of the water with a cleaned up interface and an iPad version. ### 5/5 — Weather APP *2010-11-15, version 1.4* This is one of the best well done weather apps out. Even if you do not live in Columbia SC, there is information for everyone. Everything works and is up to date. The radar is smooth and can be positioned anywhere in the USA. I use it 2-3 times a day because it is simply so easy and all the informantion is at my finger tips. I love the data positioned in the lower banner which does not interfere with the radar at all. The small ad banner does not concern me at as either. Great layout and tons of information. Animated radar with pinch and zoom. Can’t make plans more than 1 hour in advance. Whoever updates the forecast has got good.
