Would be great if the app worked in landscape mode for iPad. ### 2/5 — App settings *2022-05-21* It’s 2022. Make the back button easier and stop the stupid auto play ads in news stories. If you are listening to podcasts or music it cuts out then you have to exit the app and go into what you were playing to start it again. ### 2/5 — Choice of stories *2022-01-08, version 7.35.0* Seems to report on any car crash and house fire. It needs to refresh itself upon opening. This happens daily, in some cases multiple times in one day. Most times the alert story isn’t posted yet and the videos, after having to click on this, go here and there...it doesn’t load or play. What a waste. Love the actual news on TV. The app needs a lot of work. ### 3/5 — Major hits, although Major Misses *2017-11-18* I love having the worldwide news interpreted by our favorite staff at Fox 11! The one thing that bugs me terribly is the radar on the app. Yes there is a radar, but you do not have the “Play,Pause””Future,Past” ability for the radar in the app. And even if I go to safari and click on your radar, it brings me right back to the app! That is very frustrating to me. ### 1/5 — Deceptive advertisements *2017-01-21, version 6.12.0* Scrolling down the list I see a picture of an NFL QB and a "headline" that sounds like news. It opened a new window that had a .org domain, whatever. Of course as I'm reading it I realize it's an advertisement for some work out supplement. On the main page it does say sponsored in an easy to miss way. What a joke. I thought this was a news app. Your competitors don't stoop to that level. Using advertisers that masquerade as news is annoying and hurts your credibility. I'll be uninstalling and going to either channel 2 or 26 from now on. ### 1/5 — No live news *2017-01-09, version 6.11.6* Unable to access the live news segment. Just keeps going in a circle. Tried reinstalling it now I can't even get past the intro screen. They need to pull this latest code and go back to previous and test it out before installing again. I’ve provided feedback several times and emails I’ve received acknowledge problems but their solution is to access via desktop! Seriously?! ### 1/5 — App is now unusable! *2022-12-15* I depended on this app for daily news sports and weather for a few years now. It was great until about one week ago. Whatever was done to the app at that time made it unusable. It is now sluggish, very slow and unstable. When it does work (seldom) the presentation and “look” of the stories is disjointed and terrible! I can’t understand how a news organization can’t test their app prior to publishing it! Just bad and a bad look for WLUK! WOW...HOW INEPT CAN AN APP BE? ### 1/5 — Soccer? *2018-07-02, version 7.4.0* Why is soccer from other countries, being shown on regular TV? There are sport channels for soccer and tennis. Not all viewers are interested sports of any kind. Channel 2 has a very interesting morning show. If you only use your iPad in landscape view like I do then this app is now useless. Correction, app is still useless!! So annoying. One more thing about the latest release (6/22/17) your use of space is horrible too. You should be able to have like 10 articles to choose to read from w/o scrolling, not 2!?!? JI used to rely on app for breaking news and weather but now it is unresponsive even after update. I rely on school notifications and no longer receive. There is no longer an option to sign up for alerts or breaking news. I have now downloaded the competitors apps and they are easy to follow, responsive to selections, and receive the notifications. I have emailed a few times without a response. Time to move onto channel 2 & 5 ### 4/5 — Really nice *2017-06-22, version 7.0.2* The new app is really nice!
