I turn some of them off but I still get notifications from them so I just turned them all off. I take comfort in having the most up to date accurate weather data. When I get ready to leave for the day, I can check the app before walk outside, I know how to dress for the weather elements. I really appreciated having this information before the winter storm hit Michigan. We had plenty of time to buy extra batteries for our flashlights, and food. I also knew ahead of time that power outages were possible, so I made sure our cellphones were charged up.
