It goes silent occasionally. When using Apple Play in my car that disconnects it and I have to fiddle with it to get it going again. When you are driving that is very bad. Once I had to delete the app and reinstall it because it froze. I would rate the music a 5 but the app a 1. It provides complete access to the relevant areas of WNIU's site, social links, a "Messages" link, and an easy shortcut for calling the station. The "Now Playing" panel is confusing, because it is apparently unable to display special programs, such as "Sunday Morning Baroque." But, for regularly-scheduled programs, it's quite serviceable.
