### 3/5 — Nice first try…

*2026-08-26*

The simplicity is there, but OMG I would change almost everything in the interface.

1. “Get Ready” need to go
2. Same with “You’re done”
3. 11 second (get ready timer) is fixed… how about a little customization for 0s, 2s, 5s, 10s so user can set what they prefer
4. Support Landscape mode where it can use the full screen better.
5. Show the seconds of the interval instead of just total time remaining based on calculated seconds from segment times and number of segments
6. Allow user to set duration for both minutes and seconds instead of only giving a plus/minus button for seconds adjustments.
7… many more, but only if the developer puts in these basics first.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the list. Two of your points have shipped since: from 1.8, Intervals counts down the work or rest period you are in, with the whole workout as a smaller line below it, and from 1.10, the iPhone runs in landscape, with the digits in one column and the buttons in the other. The 10-second count-in can be cancelled (since 1.4), but its length is still fixed, and the steppers still move in steps. Jarl

### 4/5 — Perfect for Solo, missing functions for group

*2026-09-28*

I really like the minimalistic concept of the app. A few clicks and you’re good to go.
Since I’m using it on speakers for group workouts, I’d really like to have a few more optional signals. Something like: “prepare” before the first set and a “3,2,1” before basically every change. Otherwise great app.

**Developer response:** Thank you, and good to hear it works for your group sessions. Both signals are there, but easy to miss on a speaker: a 10-second count-in before the first round, and a 3-2-1 beep before every change, work to rest and rest to work, since 1.3. The beep is a short system sound, so it gets lost next to music. That is the part of your review I'm looking at. Jarl
