This is an awesome app for anyone who rides in a group, large or small. We use it for our motorcycle riding group, but I can see other applications for anyone who participates in active group sports, such as cycling. I've tried many other similar motorcycle route planning apps (Rever, Scenic, etc), but nothing compares to WolfPack. The radar feature helps keep track of any group members with the app installed, so no one ever gets left behind. You can also easily send short messages to members of your pack. No one has to be a premium member to show up on the radar or receive messages. Route planning is a snap and all members of your pack get access to the route. Once a planned route is started you get audible and turn-by-turn directions. This app even gives you directions to your starting point. The best part? It works seamlessly and if you do have a suggestion the Tech Support folks are eager to hear them. Even the best apps have a few things that can be improved upon and WolfPack is no different. WolfPack has too many features to mention them all. I'm giving them 5 Stars because it's almost there and Tech Support is so responsive I am confident this app is going to continue to get even better. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No Stars for this app *2023-03-11* Nothing but problems with this app since I first signed up for the yearly premium. Drops out during a ride, or shows you where you aren’t and you miss a turn. Not a bad issue if your alone, just turn around and go back. But when you ride in a group of 10 to 40 bikes, it causes havoc and near misses. App updated, and no it won’t let me log in even after I tried to reset password. Canceled my subscription and I BETTER GET REFUNDED for my unused 11 months… Worst app ever ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2019-01-06* Isn’t easy to use, and you won’t find other rides to join. ### 1/5 — High cost of premium *2018-09-09* I was hoping to browse and see how easy it might be to join up with folks. I belong to a group, but with life there are very few consistently available to ride. Let’s face it, riding in groups is enjoyable, as is socializing. The app is useless (think of older less savvy tech users) without premium. Premium is 60 bucks a year. With NO idea how many users there are to potentially join up with why would anyone choose premium? I think if this is going to work, you have to use the technique of getting them hooked and then pulling it back to get folks going premium. Can’t do anything over an hour later ### 1/5 — Not worth the headache. *2017-08-23* Not a smart interface and can't perform simple tasks ### 3/5 — Pretty darned good, with refinements can be Great! *2017-09-25* I have used this app for a few trips and here are my opinions: Pros: pretty easy to set up a route, place and reorder waypoints, invite others to a pack, good navigation Cons: font for digits showing miles to a turn are way too small to read while riding, no compass showing while riding, needs to do better when no internet is available. Overall this app has potential to be better than most of my other GPS apps. I use Sygic when Internet isn’t available and wish I could marry this app to it. That combo would rock. Pronunciation of road names isn’t mature yet, but is tolerable. Everyone knows where to be and at what time. Super simple. No need to text and call each other and we can see each other’s location so no one falls behind. We have rides every weekend and even just pulled off our first rally using wolf pack! The support was excellent and the app was easy to use. All riders and road captain used this app to communicate the ride routes. The app was used across all IPhones and androids with out any issues. ### 5/5 — Great app great people *2019-05-31, version 2.0221.3* Always been very happy with the app. We use it for our chapter rides always. Jonathan and Paul are great guys and always willing to help with anything always. Even sent me some swag!! Recommend it to anyone. The more people that get on this app and use the better it will become.
