I have a unique last name as does my wife. The app crashed within seconds of pushing enter. No bueno! Please credit back my $4.99!

This application is a definite waste of money. I typed in several last names. None of them came up and several were famous in history. Information that is retrievable was often irrelevant and even worse, inaccurate. The bad reviews are correct. 
When looking for a way to be refunded my money, I noticed you cannot find a help button. Do not waste your time or money with this worthless app.

This app provides a lot of facts on a lot of levels to help explore historical data in relation to events. Weather, wars, city data and more. Some tools, especially surname is weaker but this not why I would get this app. Good calculators for age, birthday, and relationships. Historical timelines should be more zoomed in but are still a quick to fact check time frames. There are many ways this can help you genealogical research as well as facts for writing family history. 
Keep adding to it please. I do not agree with others initial reviews stating it is useless, wolfram must have added much more since then.

I don't think this app is user friendly. The generation chart is confusing. I think you need a video to help explain this app. It's to complicated.

With everything Wolframalpha has done with the creation of top of the line, cutting edge iOS apps, this one has fallen prodigiously short of even a sub-par standard. There are no functions that can't be utilized easily with the regular wolfram reference app.

This is one of the most useless apps I have ever seen, and I'm an app developer, so I have evaluated hundreds of apps. It often gives wrong answers. The user interface is very difficult to use. The name is incredibly misleading. When I tried to enter a year under Presidents, it gave me the current Speaker of the House instead of the president during that year.
