You can’t even copy/paste them into an email to send them to another device, as they paste as a picture rather than text. It’s an ideal solution, concept-wise, but I find it unusable. ### 5/5 — Fantastic *2018-06-08, version 1.3.1* It’s fantastic, like its original app. 👍✌️ ### 3/5 — Cool app, but.... *2017-04-27, version 1.3* It's nice to get exhaustive stats on passwords, but a password generator that doesn't allow for generated passwords to be copied onto the clipboard is just plain silly. Generate that super-strong 27-character password, then… manually transcribe it for actual use; in what universe does that make sense?!? ### 1/5 — Great app, but hasn't been updated in years! *2017-03-16, version 1.2* I bought this app when it first came out and it has served me well, but now it has been two years, since it received it's last update and there is a good chance that with the new iOS update it will not work at all, since iOS keeps complaining it will slow down my iPad and iPhone if used... how about updating your apps ... how about updating them, so all the money I have spent in them isn't going down the drain! I wish developers would stop selling apps they really don't plan to support or stand by ... Otherwise this is an excellent and very useful app! ### 5/5 — Absolutely Perfect *2017-01-17, version 1.2* The best app on this topic I have EVER found. Now I create weekly hard-to-crack passwords to protect my systems. Thank you. ### 2/5 — Old and not thought out… *2014-12-11, version 1.0.3* I should have seen the outdated update info before I bought this, but so be it… Wolfram devs were NOT AT ALL thinking of the user when creating this app. Generation is great, but copying to the clipboard is ridiculous. You generate 10 passwords, you end up copying ALL 10 to the clipboard (long-press your finger for about 6 seconds - SLoW). Not useful when trying to change a site's password while mobile. Horrible… And you have to type in the number of characters and results. Why not use sliders? It's quicker. But the technical info of your results are interesting. Don't buy this app, there are MUCH better apps our there (like Free Password Generator by Elke Luders). ### 2/5 — Requires Internet and can't copy passwords *2012-10-14, version 1.0.0* I get that Wolfram wants to fit this into their normal setup with questions and generating detailed answers, but the end result is that this app requires Internet (not great for iPod touch) and you can't actually copy the password, which is the whole point of it. @eventualbuddha ### 3/5 — Looks good, but .... *2012-07-21, version 1.0.0* Yes this app does what it says on the box. However when you create a good strong password, there's no way to copy that and use it for say a website or where ever I might need a password/login. The only way is to copy all ten generated passwords paste'em as text into Evernote (or another text editor) and then select the one password you need copy-paste into whatever login. Or you could of course go old school pen and paper:-) I did try to reach support, but support is just to well hidden on their website. ### 2/5 — Generates passwords, but nearly useless beyond that *2012-06-06, version 1.0.0* The options for this app are great in so far as it generates strong passwords in almost any way you care to generate them, and does password analysis. A pity that it is almost impossible to use unless you are want to read the password off your iOS device and type it in by hand on another device. First - it requires a data connection because the passwords are actually generated on Wolfram Alpha, and you are at the mercy of their servers current work load. Second - there is no facility to save passwords. Third - Worst of all, you cannot select text. It only let's you copy the entire text of the page returned from WA, which always contains a lot more text than the password.
