Die Geschichte fand ich oberes Mittelmaß - stellenweise zu wenig Hintergrund und stellenweise unlogisch, wie zB die plötzlichen Kampffähigleiten eines Bücherwurms. Diese Punkte sind aber teilweise Geschmack und teilweise entschuldbar. Geschockt war ich dagegen von der Qualität der Entwicklung selbst. Obwohl das Spiel simplistisch ohne Ende ist, gab es haufenweise Schreibfehler, Estrid wurde mit „er“ und ihr Bruder mit „sie“ bezeichnet und am Ende hatte ich sogar an einer Stelle gar keinen Text sondern die Zeichen DFR_F5D68… Echt traurig wenn man sowas auf Kunden loslässt. Und ich bin selbst in der Software Entwicklung tätig, das ist vermeidbar wenn man sich etwas mehr Mühe gibt. Einerseits wünschte ich, es gäbe mehr. Andererseits wünschte ich, das Studio bekäme einen Denkzettel ob der abgelieferten Qualität. ### 5/5 — Hervorragend *2024-09-07* Ich bin zwar auch ein Fan von DSA, aber das Spiel gefällt mir wirklich sehr gut. If you like the DSA world and its role playing campains you should try this interactive book. Very good that no online connection is needed for reading/playing. Wishes for improvement (and 5 stars): - Usage of iCloud to store the game state. I would like to switch between iPad and iPhone depending where I am. - A few more interactions possibilities and visualizations would be nice. Well worth the money if you enjoy these kind of games similar to telltale, I hope the developers have more planned either for this or future games as it would be amazing to see! ### 1/5 — Gute Geschichte - schwache App *2022-08-13* Die Geschichte ist sehr gut, die Umsetzung lässt zu wünschen übrig. Dass man nach jeder Textzeile tippen muss, nervt extrem schnell, und macht das Spiel sehr zäh. Die Avatare der Personen haben immer denselben Gesichtsausdruck, und der passt oft überhaupt nicht zu den im Text beschriebenen Situationen/Emotionen, besonders bei der Elfe ist das Bild fast immer unpassend. Die Wortwahl der Personen passt manchmal überhaupt nicht in das Setting und/oder zum Charakter. Dafür, dass es sich um hier ein einfaches Textadventure mit Hintergrundbildern handelt, verbraucht das Ding auch unglaublich viel Batterie, solche Spiele gab es schon vor 10 Jahren auf dem iPad 2, und die haben deutlich besser funktioniert. Was auch doof ist, ist dass man weder die verfügbaren Zauber kennt, noch die Kampffähigkeit irgendwie einschätzen kann. Damit stochert man oft im Nebel. Die Autosave-Funktion ist so dämlich implementiert, dass ich mich im dritten Akt in eine Situation bringen konnte, in der ich jetzt gezwungen werde, das Spiel neu von vorne anzufangen. Warum wird nicht wenigstens zu Beginn jedes Aktes ein Autosave angelegt, oder derm Spieler erklärt, dass man manuell speichern muss. Meine drei Autosaves sind immer nur eine Sekunde auseinander. Das muss ein Fehler sein. Ausserdem habe ich den Eindruck, dass manche Entscheidungen nicht sauber gespeichert werden, d.h. wenn man sie einmal für etwas entschieden hat, werden gewisse Konsequenzen umgesetzt, obwohl man neu geladen und sich anders entschieden hat. ### 5/5 — Mehr davon *2022-07-06* Super gemacht, Erinnert mich an die alten dsa Soloabenteuerboxen aus meiner Kindheit. This game kept me company for a few sleepless nights. Easy controls and gameplay style made it easy to play during and between baby care activities. Even before being a parent, I have been looking for a good visual novel iOS game with some mechanical teeth for a while and I found that here. Well written options that always did what I thought they would do, but provided nuanced and difficult choices in social and combat situations. Story is top notch. Simple overarching story, but the characters (incl. male protagonist) have really deep backstories that made me think about my own life and the choices that made me who I am. The slow reveal of the villains true nature made this game much more impactful than I thought it would be. Don’t know what will happen in the final battle, but regardless a few of these characters will continue to live with me for a while yet to come. Developer: Please make more of these.
