Cannot access any material keeps saying I have to pay even though I have an active subscription. This magazine is not exactly cheap and now I am unable to download the newest edition/find old copies. I have been a subscriber since issue one - that's years of issues. Now, after this horrendous update no more than the last 12 months of issues is available. This is content that I have paid for, and many issues that I had not yet finished reading, which has been taken away. I'm absolutely appalled and am livid at Hearst publishing for this decision. ### 1/5 — Pick another fitness title *2016-11-12, version 6.0* I wasn't advised of any upgrade and now I have lost all old purchases, including special issues, so I have been totally ripped off. If you like to keep fitness magazines - my advice - pick another title or buy the actual magazine, don't use this app. ### 1/5 — Lost nearly all the content *2016-11-07, version 6.0* Very poor upgrade. All the back issues have disappeared and can only download the previous six issues. Even this is painful, as on each occasion it failed to download and had to be repeated. Their email support is non-existent, you get generic replies that are clearly just cut and pasted, and the same suggestions over and over from different people. I've gone back to Apple now who are giving me a full refund. ### 2/5 — Not great *2015-05-26, version 4.0.16* The app unfortunately rarely works properly and always charges full price despite the add banner claiming a lower one (when you click that, nothing happens). Clunky and has bugs. Also even though I supposedly have full access I cannot view the back catalogue for free. My husband has the same subscription for Mens Health and can…… what more do I need to say. The app is one of the worst I have come across which makes no sense as all it needs to do is download and store magazines…. The rest you have to access via the website anyway. Also no navigation menu for the magazine, you literally have to scroll/swipe to pages you want to view…. Not too sure how the digital edition can be released so much later than the print edition! As per other reviews Hearst customer service is also shockingly bad, definitely won’t be renewing my subscription. ### 1/5 — Late releasing magazines *2017-11-07* The issue I have with the app is that the magazines are often released late or fail to download within the app. It's rather frustrating as I follow the WH instagram pages and get excited about the release of each month's magazine and then have to wait longer than those who aren't subscribed. Makes no sense to me as WH should be looking after their loyal readers. I am considering cancelling my subscription on the back of this. The may issue is out in the shops but not showing up on app for me to download. I've reinstalled the app, restored purchases and follows the troubleshooting advice in the FAQ online... still nothing. Reassuring to know that the workouts are suitable for women and to see proven results, ### 5/5 — 53 and loving gym *2024-02-24* Never really did weights.. always cardio… never saw the point of lifting heavy weights… didn’t wanna get too massive… however being menapausal it’s helped me no end… my aching joints are so much more easier… I love the buzz and I’m definitely not hooked on just what the scales say.. more on how much have I lifted today and seeing the progress… my clothes fit better… even down a size… but the weight hasn’t really gone down… but lost inches … it’s taken me a long time to get over not getting hung up on what the dreaded scales say and going more on what my body is saying xx ### 5/5 — Awful - developers don’t care !! *2021-10-25* Would give this app no stars if I could, it’s now 25th of the month and still not received this months issue.
