## What is Wonder for Dash and Dot Robots?

PLEASE NOTE: This app requires a Wonder Workshop robot - Dash or Dot - and a Bluetooth Smart/4.0/LE-enabled device to play. To find out more, please visit our website: https://www.makewonder.com or an Apple Store (US, Canada). This app is FREE to play.

Wonder makes robotics as delightful as finger painting. With a picture-based language and guided challenges, Wonder is the first coding tool that lets kids ages 8 and up have fun with robotics all on their own.

This app comes packed with over 50 challenges that will teach you how to code with Wonder, and you’ll be coding up a storm in no time. Travel through the African Grasslands, the Arctic Wilderness, and even Outer Space in your coding adventures to uncover new ideas for your robots. Turn Dot into a trumpet, a Pong arcade, or a desert race drifter. Dash is a real robot that comes with you on all your adventures! Transform Dash into a ferocious lion, dodge asteroids together in outer space, play a game of Marco Polo together, and much more.

When you and your robot are ready, start creating your own inventions. Once you’re done coding, put your iPhone or iPad away and your robot will remember your code. Wonder is the coding canvas that gives you the joy of creativity as you bring Dash and Dot to life. Roll up your sleeves, and push the boundaries of what is possible.

For ages 8 and up.

As seen on the New York Times, USA TODAY, WIRED, Engadget, BBC, and more.

HOW TO PLAY

- Venture on the Scroll Quest to complete challenges that will guide you on how to play and give you fun ideas for your robots. Start with Dash or Dot - there is a set of challenges for every kind of bot.
- Try the Free Play mode to create your own inventions for Dash and Dot.
- Transform Dash and Dot. Once you’re done coding, you can transfer your code to Dash or Dot. Next time you turn on your robot, it will run your code without being connected to an iPad or iPhone.

### 4/5 — Okay

*2026-08-07, version 1.16.1*

I just wish it had more scroll quest levels and more modes to be honest

### 4/5 — I have internet connection:

*2026-04-12, version 1.16.1*

When I try to get a friend code, it says I need internet connection even though I have internet. Please fix this because I really need to sync projects between devices.

### 1/5 — My Bluetooth is ON

*2026-01-15*

I was getting my robot out and connecting it to my phone and when I tried to connect it was saying my Bluetooth was off but my Bluetooth is on is I get helping feedback I will change my review but until then this is a one start app

### 4/5 — Great, but…

*2025-09-26*

This app is great, but it hasn’t been updated in a bit, and I feel like it needs to be refreshed, like some of the images being displayed are low of quality, and the user interface is kinda glitchy.

### 4/5 — Boo

*2025-05-26*

When you start it says that you are not connected to Bluetooth even though you are😭

### 1/5 — The listener

*2025-05-17, version 1.16.1*

These idiots don’t let me connect other things to the listener for some insane reason like why don’t you let me do it? I don’t see the downside please make it so I can

### 2/5 — I need to get the robot

*2025-01-10, version 1.16.1*

So I just open the app and I tapped + button and it’s no robots found so
I need to buy dash robot on Amazon.

### 1/5 — Buggy Robot Adventure

*2024-11-21*

There is no Sound of a ship. The level is not doable

### 5/5 — so good please read before you get the app

*2024-09-14*

So good a few things you should do before you download the app
Put on Bluetooth if you don’t have Bluetooth on then you won’t be able to do it. Also, go find your robot. It’s either Dot or DASH if you don’t know the robots names, tell you what they look like so DASH has three standing parts more to stand on and it has one little ball head connected. It has a little button to turn it on OK and dot just has a round circle and that’s his head. It has a little Head And yeah, so you can download the app now if you did all that already

### 3/5 — The robot are awesome but the app is horrible

*2024-06-12*

So when I use my dash and do programs if I use dash and dot together at random time, it turns off if I use dash alone, it’s somewhat fine if I use that alone, then I can I can’t virtually touch that because if I do it instantly kick me out of the for some reason please do some thing to fix this bug

Howdy do!

Wonder has just become way more powerful! We've added counters, which help you make smarter programs.

Counters bring variables to your state machine programs so you can do things like keep score, referee, and create minigames. Give counters a try!

We've also made some software and firmware updates to give you more control over your robot:
-When the robot is powered off, plugging in a charging cable will no longer cause it to power on.
-The power button now pulses with light when the robot is charging.
-You can now see the robot's battery level, thanks to the battery indicator in the app.

We’ve also fixed some bugs, made general improvements, and added beta support for additional platforms.

Tell us what you think of Wonder by leaving a review!

Toodles,

The Wonder Workshop Team
