### 5/5 — oh dear

*2018-06-09, version 1.0.5*

it starts off fun and lighthearted but delve deeper into the game and it becomes more interesting

### 5/5 — please make more games

*2018-05-05, version 1.0.5*

this has a nice aesthetic feel to it I like it. not meant to be intense. it's very enjoyable.

### 5/5 — This is sooo coooollllll

*2017-10-09, version 1.0.5*

I just finished the game and the end is amazing 🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2017-09-10, version 1.0.5*

You people never fail to impress me!

### 5/5 — Very Good!

*2017-08-26, version 1.0.4*

I loved the story and how it turns into an eerie atmosphere taking you by surprise. Even after reading some of the reviews this still shocked me( in a good way). It conjures your curiosity making you need to see what happens next. My only criticism is that it's fairly short, but keep in mind that it's a free game. I'd recommend this to anyone with a taste for darkness and meaning below the surface.

### 5/5 — Amazing, but why the cliffhanger?

*2016-06-09, version 1.0.4*

This game really shouldn't have ended so quickly, it was only 45 Minutes!

But it was 45 minutes of Beauty. This game has a beautiful story-line with a strange twist at the end that will have you hoping for your soul back!

This game truly needs a sequel.

Now if you'll excuse me, while I go to the store and buy a nightlight.

### 5/5 — Sequel Please!!!

*2016-02-23, version 1.0.4*

I love this so much I just need another game to follow this one or at least another one in the same style.

### 5/5 — Good Game

*2016-02-19, version 1.0.4*

One of the most touching games I have ever played though it might get a little creepy at the end.

### 5/5 — Love It

*2015-12-12, version 1.0.4*

This game is beautiful, I wanted to know what happened next and sat for hours playing this. But when i got that ending and found I could not play anymore i was a bit upset. Add more to it? I am also surprised that I was the only review! 😊 Best Wishes, Alyssa

### 5/5 — What a game...

*2015-10-06, version 1.0.3*

Before playing this game, know that this experience is all about the story. This game is interconnected metaphor that parallels the loneliness and burdens of reality. Once you journey through this gut-wrenching story, you will leave with emotions I thought a mobile game could never evoke. Overall, this unique, definitive experience employs innovative story-telling methods and symbolic visuals to deliver one hell of a game.

### 5/5 — This game is amazing.

*2015-09-14, version 1.0.3*

If you think building a treehouse is what this app is about, walk away. As each journal entry progresses, the cute little façade this game carries slowly degrades and exposes its eerie, twisted story about loneliness. Lots of deep meanings and metaphors, as well as a few genuinely creepy moments. You're playing this app for the story, so if you don't like that, don't play. If you love dark plots and a few scares, you won't be disappointed.

### 5/5 — What a ride

*2015-09-08, version 1.0.3*

This was not what I was expecting, in a good way though. I don't regret downloading this and it only takes about 30 minutes to completely, if you're down for a story that will blow your mind and make you think about life and friendship you really should give this app a try!

### 5/5 — It's weird but I LOVE it!

*2015-08-17, version 1.0.3*

Ok, I don't want to spoil anything but you should download this game if you love weird things. I would love to find out the meaning of the game because I have a feeling there's some deep meaning to this. Also, it's a short 30 minute game so it's not a waste of your time.

### 5/5 — Wth

*2015-07-12, version 1.0.3*

I don't understand what just happened but I'm sure you'll enjoy it I guess.

### 5/5 — Nice

*2015-06-29, version 1.0.3*

I kinda liked the game but the ending song was really good and sad and almost made me cry. Can someone tell me the name of the song please

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — This game stinks.

*2018-01-09, version 1.0.5*

I tried it out to see if i could design my own tree house, BUT I CANNOT EVEN DO ANYTHING. All i do is tap build and gather. You should make a game like the show tree house masters where you can design furnish and build your own tree house.
This doesn’t even represent what a childhood is because that “tree house” that the 2 buttons were building is LAME.
😡

### 1/5 — Most boring game ever and makes no sense

*2015-01-09, version 1.0.2*

All you do in this boring game is push a button that says gather, then wait. Once it's a 100% you push the same button that now says build, and wait yet again. You do this a few times until suddenly a storm comes and ruins everything you waited for and then the game ends with some suicidal poem. Seriously the dumbest waste of time I've ever seen, and I have a feeling letting your young children play this is going to subliminally make them commit suicide one day. DO NOT DOWNLOAD! Honestly Apple should take this garbage off the App Store.

### 2/5 — Why

*2017-09-08, version 1.0.5*

This game is so odd

### 2/5 — Interactive story, not game

*2015-01-23, version 1.0.2*

I can't tell whether I hated this or thought it weirdly fascinating. Probably both. One thing I know for sure is that it's misleading to call it a "game," considering there are no choices to be made or challenges to overcome. I'd say it's definitely more of an interactive story. A terrible, weirdly fascinating interactive story.

### 3/5 — What?

*2016-03-04, version 1.0.4*

This game was fun at the beginning but creepy and confusing towards the end I thought it was just making a TreeHouse next thing I know there's a bunny and a doll and a storm and a message at the end telling me to go towards the lights very scared rn...

### 3/5 — What is wrong with this app

*2015-06-12, version 1.0.3*

What is wrong with this app Who couldn't come up with such a app where you bild a treehouse with five people and then you find The Easter bunny and then next thing you know two kids turn into a baby so weird but it is still fun

### 4/5 — It okay 👌🏻👍

*2020-06-04, version 1.0.6*

I really like the game but all I wish is the we could add our own stuff in the tree house

### 4/5 — Weird...

*2014-10-15, version 1.0.2*

I would have never guessed that there would be a horror part to this game. I figured it was just a game where you built a nice treehouse. It was very interesting though how a bunny and baby came and seems as if they killed the boy's friends.

I wished that there was more to the game because to be honest, I finished the game within like 15-20 minutes. Maybe if Cocosola added new things I would add a 5th star.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2023-04-09*

Slow gameplay but WOW never had the hair on the back of my neck stand up so fast. Really cool!

### 5/5 — I love this game but I kind a have a weird story

*2022-11-26, version 1.0.6*

I’ve been trying to figure out what kind of the dark meanings meant the game saddle kind of nice but when that rabbit comes it starts getting kind of dark

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Don’t read comments spoilers

*2021-08-08, version 1.0.6*

Very fun

### 5/5 — Ok cocosola, lol

*2021-05-18, version 1.0.6*

I have no idea what I just completed.

Suddenly a bunny appears, then a baby... then everything dies.

Am I watching flashbacks? The present day? Visions of the reason the forest is “dangerous” (ie haunted)?

I don’t understand.

But I remember I’m playing a Cocosola game and then I realize it’s not meant to be understood. Just like an alpaca mutating into a giant pair of legs made of hundreds of mutilated legs fused together.

Just enjoy the story unfolding. Appreciate the weird twists. And then move on to a different game.

### 5/5 — Great Game!

*2021-01-10, version 1.0.6*

This game is amazing. Not for the gameplay or design, but for the story it tells and the excellent building of tension.
I would love to see a game similar to this one. Games that are seemingly cute and innocent but turn out to be much darker are my favorite.
Sorta spoilers ahead as I would like to talk about the ending.

So, this boy decides to build a treehouse with his friends but they all died during a storm.

How I see it is that this boy never had friends at all, but pretended he did, when it was really just him and his toys. I prefer this interpretation better as I was lonely and had to play by myself as a kid, so I relate to the boy a lot. I would pretend someone else was there with me. I had fun, but the overbearing loneliness of not having friends to share it with is very emotionally scarring for a child.

Either way, great game! I loved it and I hope to see more like it.

### 5/5 — Not what I expected

*2020-02-19, version 1.0.6*

But in the best way! This is weird, creepy, and deeply metaphorical. Take it slow, enjoy it.

### 5/5 — Don’t read the reviews

*2019-02-22, version 1.0.6*

Go into this game blind and it will stick with you

### 5/5 — Play it.

*2019-01-26, version 1.0.6*

It's an incremental story based game, not a construction game. But it's one of the most interesting things I've discovered on the app store. If you're here from Alpaca evolution, give this one a try. It's quite different and leaves you wanting more.

### 5/5 — Great Game

*2018-10-17, version 1.0.6*

Adorable, creepy game that I shouldn't have played at night. Nothing especially scary, just creepy. I love it and would love to see more like this!

a definite must play!

### 5/5 — Holy Sh!t, this app is awesome

*2018-06-22, version 1.0.6*

I wish I have much to say about this app. Oh boy, I began to catch on the details in the game while gathering the supplies to build the ‘fort’ like the bunny sudden appeared when the children builds the wall. Give with lack of full information about what the heck is happening in this story and the behaviors of four children, the game is hella good. I still don’t understand the truth behind this story but I guess some truth is better being left untold for now. A++ game! Please makes these weird but inspirational games/apps! :D
